Default NBA Sunday - Washington

Give me any reasons why Washington won't cover the 2 pts against Milwaukee.

Only one I can come up with is that Bucks are coming off a blowout loss, and may play with some anger.

Washington is a very focused team right now, and for January they have an identical 8-4 ATS and SU record. When they win, they cover.

For the season Washington is 18-8 ATS against the East.

Washington's four losses this month were to Detroit, Houston, Cleveland (all strong), and one letdown to New York (after beating Boston twice in the previous two games).

They have their eye on first place (two games behind Orlando), and are talking about staying focused. Plus they had a little warning in the last game, after going up 30-9 in the 1Q and relaxing in 2H. Looks like all the right ingredients to me.

honestly its a spot that Washington fails at. More so that Milwaukee is night/day, home/away.

I really can't see why the Wizards shouldn't cover either. The two teams match up pretty well though. Butler and Redd can both score at will on either team. Bogut and Jamison will both have double doubles. It mostly comes down to whether or not the Bucks continue to struggle in the second half (the third quarter especially). I guess thats the biggest question mark...

Wizards 9-10 on the road.
Bucs 12-7 at home.

Bucs are a decent team at home. Mo Williams back, Andrew Bogut playing well and Michael Redd lighting it up at home. He scored 37 there last home game against the Pacers.

Good luck!

Yep, line drops down 2 points to "pck" despite 67-70% of the action on Washington.

Closing line is going to be 2.5 or perhaps 3. Some three's on the board.

So line went from 2, to 1, to 3.

Crazy 11-0 run to tie it, 99-95 up in OT with 2 minutes left. All the momentum. And still lose the game?

Note to self - stay away if you don't understand a line.

Pretty incredible stuff. I took WAS 3Q at halftime as well, so things evened out. Surprised that it took them 46 minutes to get going. And even more surprised that they weren't able to finish after a 20-5 run (11-0 plus 9-5 in OT). What a tease.

Me too. I had it at 194, but needed the OT in a big way. Interesting how much the line eeked around.
