Although I'm new to the forum and new to SB in general I've been a pro sports nut since I was a little guy.

I figured with all the handicappers in the world how hard can it be? Guess I may be naive but I ws writing a free sports pick blog for a while and had a record of 26-19-1.

Since the blog wasn't/isn't getting any traffic I figured it would be fun to post my daily picks here on this site and see what my record will wind up being at the end of the year. 1-5unit system. The higher the unit the stronger I feel about a pick. FYI - 1 Unit = 50.

Gonna have to disagree on all 4 of those games bro. I'm actually leaning heavily in favor of the complete opposites lol.. Indiana has been doing really well lately, and Golden State just doesn't play like themselves away from home. Golden State and Indiana both can put up heavy numbers. I expect 30 point quarters or at least 26-28 quarters bringing the total to around 230-235. Hawks just played last night and Milwaukee's been playing some great ball against the elite teams and staying well within the ballgame.. They came close against the Lakers (with Bynum) and against Utah at home.. Keep in mind Utah has an excellent record at home, and is a very high fast paced scoring team.. Taking Milwaukee on this one. Celtics I think will just be out for revenge.. Oddsmakers know the public will be all over Portland +9 because of how well they played, and they will be thinking the public is underestimating Boston for their atrocious recent games.. I expect Boston to win by 12+ points.

Sure, 100% right would be awesome but it's impossible to be 100% right 100% of the time. That's why I use a unit system. Say I win 5 units on one game and lose 2 units on another game, I would still be up 3 units for the day. Of course it would be better to win all 5 units but the name of the game is to be ahaead at the end of the day. It's why you can have a ratio of below 50% on picks and still be up.

Tonight I see Heat either winning or losing but being able to cover the pointspread. Blazer/Heat over 192 I agree. Grizzlies -6 I agree, Warriors -1 I agree.. Hawks/Raptors disagree... Under 187 my pick.. I see 25-20 quarters per each team with the total right at 185 or 186

I'm confident in the Blazers being able to cover. I wasn't 2 sure on the over/under on the Hawks/Raptors so I only went with 2 Units.
