Default This is how it's done Lebron!

So you might want to take notes

8 Minutes of Clutch Baskets by Kobe Bryant:

Booo!

Again Dan, you disappoint me.

A ball hog will always have this many clutch shots, but how many did he miss that is not on a highlight video?

Kobe won't win another championship. Mark my word.

That maybe true looker... but it's still 3 more than Lebron will ever have.

If Shaq wasn't on that squad, then he would have 0.

Lebron will get his.

Your Crazy Looker. We all should be saying King Kobe instead of King James.

You act like Lebron has 1 or 2 years left to play. The kid is 22 years old, he will rule the NBA for years to come. Get use to it.

Sure he might rule the NBA for years to come, however that doesn't mean he will win any championships in his career.

So your telling me that Kobe got 3 rings ONLY because he had a dominant center, Shaq.

Yet LeBron has Z, NOT a dominant center, and he is going to win a ring?

maybe LJ does win one, but your reasoning is not adding up.

You really think Lebron will play with the same squad the rest of his career? Many years to come, and player moves. Maybe in Cleveland, maybe not.

He will get his.

I am talking about his current situation. Apples to Apples. You said Kobe got his because of Shaq.

So you think LeBron will get his without a dominant center and that in turn will make James better than kobe?

I'm talking he will get his rings before his career is all said and done. Who knows, maybe Lebron will get a chance to play with a dominate center.

I do feel Lebron is a better all around player then Kobe.

I can agree with being all around better.

I just have problems with his inconsistency right now. After the 48 pt performance, the media hyped this team to win it and now it is supposed to be one of the greatest performances in NBA history?
So does that mean his 10 pt performance in Game 1 will be going down as one of the worst in history? How bout in Game 1 of the Finals?

I hope Bron becomes a success for the Cavalier fans to give you something to cheer about. All the crying over who is better, Kobe or Bron?

How bout the man with 6 rings? or the dynasty in Boston that won 11 out of 13?

This is not a, who is better, between Kobe and Bron. Just stating I feel Kobe wouldn't have those rings with out Shaq on that team.

Even though I do feel Bron is the better player.

Lebron better call up McGrady and lean how to do this by game 3.

Tracy McGrady: 13 points in 33 seconds:

The funny thing is, Cleveland would have a team capable of beating the Spurs right now if the front office didn't completely botch the Carlos Boozer situation a few years back, and in turn waste near-max money on Hughes, while also adding Donyell Marshall and the worst player in the league - Damon Jones.

The East is so bad right now that Lebron will have a legit chance each year of getting to the Finals, although I think the Bulls are on the verge of becoming the premier team in the East. The Cavs will never beat any of the West teams in the Finals until they get Lebron an All-Star caliber player to play with. They had that player in Boozer and dropped the ball.

Even this year, the only playoff team from the West the Cavs would definitively beat is the Lakers. In addition to the Spurs, the Suns, Mavs, Jazz and probably even Warriors would all beat the Cavs in a 7-game series, while the Rockets and Nuggets would both give Cleveland a tough series. The West will only get better with the addition of Oden and Durant.

It's going to be a long time before Lebron wins a ring in Cleveland, especially with Mike Brown coaching and Danny Ferry running the front office.

My problem with people who try to downplay Kobe winning 3 championships by saying without Shaq he would have zero well without Kobe or D-Wade Shaq would have zero. If Pippen weren't on the Bulls would Jordan have won any? Without Kareem does Magic ever get the chance to hit the baby hook almost every superstar that has rings had another superstar with them for the ride. The NBA is to competitive to do it all on your own. Kobe is the best offensive player in the game and can create a shot from anywhere anyone that doesn't want the ball in his hands at the end of a game is insane. I have never seen an analyst who doesn't call Kobe the most gifted and special player in the game when they talk about pure skill. When they talk about potential of course Lebron has the most upside and could one day be better than Kobe if Bryant is in the East I have no doubt he would have gotten his team to the Finals at least once in the last 3 years. Who would you rather take the game winners on the Lakers Walton or Parker they have no options he is the only one that can take it? That is just crazy talk wanting someone else to take it, but if he does pass up the shot they are basically guaranteeing a loss if he forces one up he is a ball hog. Comparing him to Lebron at this age isn't fair Lebron is way better than Kobe was at that age first round for Kobe at 18 he airballs two game winning 3 pointers he learned to be clutch and got better at scoring just like Lebron has to do. This debate will make sence looking back on their careers when they are over who had the better career.

Thanks IMG.

When Lebron missed that wide open layup with about roughly a minute left to go in the game. My first thoughts were this guy isn't even in Kobe's league at all, much less all the comparisons people are saying him being the next Jordan.

Wasn't Kobe coming off the bench at the same point in his career as Lebron? How many years has Kobe been in the league? Lebron?

Was Kobe in the finals at the same point in his career? Its not a moot point, Lebron is still learning and will get better. Just like Kobe has.

Looker and Dan,
Lebron has the higher ceiling. He has the ability to do things (average a triple-double type things) that just can't be done these days... But, Kobe is clutch. Game 5 against the Pistons is every game for Kobe. I despise Kobe as a perswon. I really do. But as I stated in a post several months ago, I think Kobe can do things that even MJ couldn't do. Who's the best all around player, Kobe or Lebron??? At this point, I's say Kobe (though Lebron has the potential to be a Magic Johnson/Scottie Pippen combo-not an MJ but uniquely talented). I watch a TON of NBA hoops in an effort to better understand these games, but all it took was one series against Detroit to show me what this Cav team was capable of. Man, I know it sounds like I;m being quite annoying and braggy, but I've head this series down besides the game 2 total. 5-6 on the main bets, bet a sh%tload on "in running" lines. (and if you want to bet in running next game, take this advice: wait until the Cavs open up a lead of 4-6 and look to be in control. You'll get a "S.A. even +120" line. Bet the farm.

I think LeBron is ready to play a HUGE game against a Spurs team playing on cruise control.

Lebron is not clutch enough when it counts like Kobe is. This series should have proved that.
