Default this is why the clippers don'y win tomorrow

Kobe Bryant now leads the Lakers in assists with 5.5 per game. (AP) Kobe Bryant and the Lakers have lost six of their past eight games and could miss the playoffs.
NBA Thursday

KOBE reads these articles too.

Clippers will win. If they don't, the Warriors are likely to make the playoffs, which I know is a ****ing impossibility.

I don't see how what Kobe reads is relevant. If the Lakers could win whenever they needed to, they wouldn't be in this spot.

I really can't see any other choice also everyone keeps saying the clippers need the game as if the lakers don't.

When they played at the Staples Center last week, the Clippers were favored by -3. Now that they play at the Staples Center, the Lakers are favored by -2.5. I guess home court advantage makes that big of a difference...

Calm down dude. All I said was a one sentance article stating that the Lakers had lost 6/8 was hardly going to have much of an effect on this game. I really don't even have an opinion on this game, just a lean at +3. If Kobe is so able to control wins and loses, why have they lost 6 of 8?

For starters injuries and the starting roster continually changing
2nd, 3 of the six loses came from phoenix denver and houston, 3 teams also in the playoffs not to mention denver being on the best win streak they had all season. As for the loss to memphis it was by two and memphis plays them tough every time which is why some people on this thread had them on the moneyline. Clippers do beat lakers sometimes plus they needed the game badly as they do tonight but now the lakers have their back to the wall, and now they need the game to think the clipppers will drop the lakers twice in a row not to mention at home nontheless I just don't see it happening. As I stated clippers may cover but I do not see them winning

33-10 since 1996 Lakers vs. Clippers if that says anything about this series. I don't see why ever taking the Lakers with a small number in this series is a bad idea until the Clippers prove they have what it takes to beat them.

I don't think it says anything about the current teams, so I'm not sure it's real relevant. Even if it were, the Clips are now 16-15 ATS in all games vs. LAL in the Staples center. Looking at just the 3 years since Shaq left LA, the Lakers lead the series 6-5 -- but the clips win ATS 6-5.
