Who would win the slam dunk championship if these five went at it?
Who would win the slam dunk championship in their prime if these guys matched up against each other?
- Kobe Bryant
- Vince Carter
- Michael Jordan
- Julius Erving
- Dominique Wilkins

I'll go with the guy whose competitive streak wouldn't allow him to be beaten.

I voted Vince Carter. The guy just seems like he can do anything once in the air.

It's a tie between Vince and Michael.
For the record, Michael already beat Wilkins when they were both in their prime.

i'd have to give Carter in his Prime the edge over Jordan in his prime, Carter had some sick dunks and i think he had better hops than Jordan.
heres some old MJ vs. Wilkins

You can see how athletes evolve in these videos. Dr J basically played before sneakers were invented. High school kids do the dunks that MJ and Wilkens did there. And then there was Brent Barry who dunked from the FT line.

In his prime, I would love to see Wilkins and Carter go at it. Would make for a good dunk contest.
