Washington Mystic +1.5 1st quarter
-Washington is going to take advantage of Detroit's injuries to Plenette and Ford and suspension of Broxton. I think Detroit is going to miss Ford's and Broxton's defense and rebounding in this game. Without these 3 players, Washington is the better team. Washington has added players that makes them a better team. They added Ajavon (free agent) and rookie 1st round pick Marissa Coleman. COleman can really knock down 3 pointers. I look for the mystic to be competitive in this game. The Shock play an emotional, revengeful game aginst the sparks who were without their top player. Washington lost all 4 games agiainst the shock last season. Washington may pull out the upset. Anyone have any opinion on this game.

No I did not. I watched the first game between the two teams. Trust me I am pretty good with my 1st quarters. Take the mystic +1.5 1st quarter.

Phoenix/NY over 40.5/41 1st quarter
-Phoenix play 17 home games last season. IN those games, the mercury and their opponent combined to score 42 or more points in 13 of those game. The mercury and liberty combined to score 51 points in the first quarter of their meeting in phoenix. The mercury shot poorely in the first quarter in their first game of the season against San Antonio silver stars. The silver stars led 18-10 at the end of the 1st quarter. The silver stars also had a low scoring 1st quarter (35 points combined) in 2008 season. Detroit, Sacramento and Minnesota were the other teams that went under the 1st quarter number against the mercury in games played at phoenix. NY also shot poorly in their first game (32% and 16% on 3 pointers).

Projection: Phoenix will score 24-26 points and NY will score 20-22 points in the first quarter. This is a good wager (over the total in the 1st quarter) all season along when the mercury play at home. Its even better when the mercury and their opponent stayed under in the previous game.

The mystique came out flat in the first quarter of their previous game against the dream. I expect the mystic to come out strong and the shock on a letdown.

If the Sparks lost to Detroit by what 30, who are favored to win the Championship, than there is no way Washington is winning imo. Washington can't rebound for anything. Washington's record is fool's gold, beating the Fever in OT and Atlanta means nothing. But My bookie doesn't even have WNBA 1st quarters. What are you using the greek?

Watch out for the mystic tonite to come out early in this game and play them tough for the 1st quarter/1st half. The mystic will cover the +1.5 spread in the first quarter.

I have to get a greek account. I'm hearing you can buy as many points as you like. Like Washington Mystics +16 at -1000 or similitude. I don't know if you can do it for the favored team like +9 at -1000 for Detroit Shocks. But if you can that's EZ $. Especially with the NBA...

The greek will allow you to buy up to 10 points either way so a +6 can become a +16, and a -10 can become a PK. usually for a buy like that the line is around -790 so definately doable the way you want.

To be honest, I lost money in the wnba last season but I am off to a good start (4-1 this season). I won big on the sparks on sat, won on the under on wash on sunday and won again on tues on indiana.
