Emerging from the rubble that was the 32 man Tournament we have jgbgsox, who in turn has earned the right to take me on in the NBA playoffs as his prize. I don't usually give challenges to people unless they have earned that right, and I will say that I am quite impressed with his ability to overcome the field and emerge victorious. The rules are the same as always. I am hoping that we can get SamsNCharge to lay them out for all to see so that we don't have any rule breaking. I usually cap my games at night, so there is very little chance that I will EVER make a late play. I will be playing much less games than usual. However, I will also put my non-competition plays on the thread as well, such as halves plays, quarters plays, etc.

jgbgsox is up against a tall order facing me, but i think that everyone will be surprised at his deft ability to make brilliant prognostications. And with that now onto brass taxes. The shit everyone really wants to hear anyway.

Since I have already made two plays because I fully anticipate the line to go up on one and down on the other, I will reveal my first 2 plays now. I have no plays for Saturday yet, because the juicy shit is on Sunday.

ck, we using the same format 25-30 games and games have to be in before 7:10 correct, or are we doing things different now and playing qtrs, halves and having different times to post plays.

one other thing i think sexymit earned the right to face the winner he was an excellent capper in the nba tourney and i will give him another shot to beat me if i do come out of this with a victory i hope you will do the same he is definately worthy of a challenge

After this thing is over the NBA season will be over. He will have to wait until next year. Unless we come up with two man teams. If we come up with two man teams then he can join you on you rside and I will rock with BiGMoneyMan on my team. PM him and see if he is in agreement with this set up and then if so the 4 of us can do battle as two against two.It makes no difference to me. I am in love with the national pastime, baseball.

I would assume to take the confusion that comes with all of the different type of plays that quarters, halves etc bring on that it would be a good idea to stick with the game spreads and totals only.

It doesn't matter. I capped this game out and I see that Miami will win a close one. I honestly think that Miami has the deeper more talented team and will prevail in this series with 6 games. As far as this game is concerned, I have Miami winning a squeaker by 1 point. ANY points are a gift. I don't need to look at the line movement on this one. I will also be taking the Heat on the moneyline as well in this game sperate from my Challenge plays

Ck. Tailing you on all three. The baby Blazers have little to no playoff experience and Yao Ming can't be stopped by anyone from the NW.

The best players step up in the playoffs in addition they get a majority of the calls. That means D-Wade.

I am a little nervous about the schizophrenic Nuggets, but we will see how it rolls.

how are we not on boston? boston OWNS chicago, i know KG will be out, and that's why we get it as cheap as 8. but that's why we hit that line. I've seen enough from boston, they are deeper and specifically at power forward, better coached, and they're all veterans to the playoffs, specifically the defending champs! Chicago may be able to play them tough when the series goes to the windy city, but the baby bulls aren't experienced enough to take their A game to the boston garden, where they got blown out by double digits in their previous meetings in BOS. I think people are intoxicated by chicago's home victory over the C's, but this isn't chicago. Books have people right where they want them, at 50/50 with their money, yet the hook has been added to the initial spread indicating the books want to encourage that chicago money so.... and above all else they are a defensive tough team and defense wins playoff games

I would not put Denver as a virtual lock to win the series as Melo has NEVER been out of the first round. Lakers are the only one that I would have no doubt in my mind that it might go badly. Even if Kobe gets hurt they still get through the Jazz in my opinion. If the Cavs lose Lebron they will lose, same with Howard and the Magic, and same with Boston if they lose Allen or Pierce. With Garnett already out they can't handle another major injury.
