at my book that would be -140 ~ hornets +7 (-110) buying 1.5 pts = hornets +8.5 (-140).

Im sure he got it at +7 (+100) Somewhere. Buying these pts would make it -130. Sometimes instead of moving the line, they adjust the juice for this example -120 <--> +100. But your right all the books make it standard 10 cents per .5 pt. However sometimes they run specials, At http://www.betgameday.com During the reg season they have half juice wednesdays. Its -105 both ways that day.
