Default NO -1.5 1H vs. SA

While I think the end result is very much in the air tonight, I'm on NO 1H -1.5 for 3 units. I absolutely love this play for numerous reasons but the main one being: Hornets are young, but not in a way that would make me think they'll come out hesitant. They're a confident, cocky bunch of young guns who will come out loose, enabling them to seize advantage of home-court and use the crowd to their benefit. Spurs will accept this pace and will attempt to weather the Hornets early storm. I'll make adjustments at half, but I think something like NO 48-SA 42 seems about right for HT. Either this is a close game at half or NO is up big. I'll lay the 1.5 with NO 1H today as that city should be jumping.

3 main questions for NO tonight:

-Who's guarding Manu? I'm all over the prop bet for Manu +23 P+A as points alone should cover that.

-When SA inevitably puts Bowen on Paul, will he succumb to frustration? Will it be effective? Keeping in mind Bowen will only be asked to really play one end of the court, can he be a difference maker?

-Word is Parker and Ginobili are both nursing nagging injuries. What's the severity? My guess is Parker will be at 110% and Manu around 99%, but if either of them are noticeably hampered, the Spurs are done.

    My plays are:
    NO -1 1Q 2*
    NO -1.5 1H 3*
    Manu Over 23 P+A (-115) 1.5*

    No, I love it.

Hornets 1Q and 1H should be money.

    Here's some information baba.

Manu Ginobili has had pain and swelling in his left ankle since jamming it during Game 2 of the Spurs series against the Suns. He played in games 3,4 and 5, and doesn't expect to miss any time.

Ginobili said the injury isn't getting any worse, though he can't get much lift off his left leg. The Spurs need Manu to play with his usual high energy, and we're not expecting anything less. May. 2 - 10:55 pm et

Tony Parker sat out the Spurs practice on Thursday for precautionary reasons. He tweaked his ankle during their first round series, but said that was not why he sat out.

"I’ve got a sore everything," Parker explained. "It was just to try to make sure I take care of everything and be ready by Saturday night." Parker isn't in danger of missing a game, but will need all of his energy to chase Chris Paul around in a seven-game series.

No way Parker will stay with CP3. Paul will run circles around him.

Well, I certainly blew that call. Tough one. And I don't really like playing the 2H line when both teams are shooting well. Between this game and the Derby, I really sh!t the bed today from a gambling perspective.

I blew it also. Rushed home because I knew this f*cking game was starting, felt it was a strong 1H play and even posted it in my own thread.
