    Default Monday's Value Play

Mavs +6 and a hookah. The Mavs are no doubt tired but, folks, they NEED this game tonight, real bad. They will bring sreious intensity and treat this almost like a playoff elimination game as they've dropped two close ones to championship caliber teams in San An and LA. I'm taking the points and hitting it hard. I know Utah is a tough place to play at and that the Mavs must be tired but I believe Dallas' desire to win this game, and validate themselves, will outweigh their exhaustion.

    I'm with you Buzzy,

First of all Sunday's game was a day game...so back to back not that big a deal here. Getting +6.5 is a lot...almost the same as the Laker line and Utah is not as good as the Lakers...this line is giving respect to Utah's home record...Dallas actually has a better record by a game overall. These teams know each other..only new player is Kidd...so advantage Dallas on this. I see Dallas hanging with Utah much like they did with the Lakers.

I am getting on the Mavericks as well. Also taking the over 200.

    Good luck!

music to my ear! go mavs!

altho i got the under 201. i think they're both gonna run their plays, setting up and anteing up on defense. i think the game will have a feel of a playoff game.

    goodluck all!

Might double up. Jim Rome, the universal jinx, just dis'd the Mavs and basically stated he thinks they are done for the year.

Scariest part about this game though is that Utah has the biggest home court advantage in the NBA. They are winning their home games by +12.25 points per game while losing their road games by -0.38, and that +12.63 Home Variance is the biggest in the league.

LT, I know, pal. That's why it takes big nads to bet the Mavs here. You know that I carry mine around in a wheelbarrow though, donchya?!

Their backs gave out under the sheer awesome weight. I have built up quite a nasty set of forearms and a killer grip carrying them myself.

If it wasn't for Kobe turning non human the Mavs would have won...Rome is a dumbass sometimes...

mundy, pal, the greek just pulled the Mavs/Jazz game. Most curious to see where the line is at when they put it back up. Hmmm........

Pete, I just don't think the Jazz can offer the challenge that Kobe and Gasol offered yesterday and I think Dallas needs this much more than Utah. That's my angle.

exactly...and this is a lot of points for 2 teams that know each other well...it's not like the Mavs are in a tail spin like the Suns are.....

well im guessing, not so much coz of D but set plays shld lessen the point production - playoff atmosphere per se.

i definitely didnt see D yesterday from the mavs and lakers, basically their best D was offense on both sides....odom and nowitzki r the only defensive player that i saw yesterday they both had blocks on each other..still looking for the over on this game

I think we see Dallas D tonight and a Mavs win to the tune of 97 to 89.

oh mann, i don't bet ML as im still a newb and dunno how things really work (i started betting after the all star break) but if u compare the dallas straight bet to dallas ML, which one would have paid bigger? isn't it the ML?

  27. #27

    Default

ML currently at +220 (was at +230). If you put 100 on the Dallas ML here and Dallas outright wins the game you would win $220 -- risk 100 to win 220.

we will see a lot more close games between western conf playoff teams the rest of the year...every game is worth two in head to head match ups...Dallas at 39-21 currently 7th...totally crazy to be fighting for their playoff lives with that record....

Jazz -6 and Over 200. Mavs are tired, Jazz are well rested coming off a DD win over Memphis. Nobody has mentioned that the Jazz need this game???? Despite leading their division, they are 4 games back in the West. Jazz win 109-99.

ok the mavs are not tired, they have enough rest... they play in the afternoon yesterday n now they r only playing at night seems enuf rest to me, but yeah we'll see wats the outcome 50/50 on the side n 50/50 on d under/over some1 will get it right eventually and hopefully im one of them hehe
