Contending with the lakers this season is a bit of a stretch, although the addition of Ariza is a step in the right direction

I don't know if getting rid of Collison and adding Ariza makes them any better. I still see them losing enough games to miss the playoffs, so Paul may still leave in 2 years. They had a guy who could run their team if Paul left, so I don't think that was a good move. I understand that they had to do something, but I think they could have done better if they had just waited until the trade deadline.

this collison kid is becoming quite overrated... hes a turnover machine and theres NO WAY hes as valuable, the team traded collison for MUCH LESS then they could have gotten for Paul for a reason

As of now, there are only 2 teams who can contend with the Lakers and they are both in the Eastern Coference..

Don't think Ariza's going to help them much in the west. West has too many other good teams.
