    Default NBA: Tuesday, January 10th

I'm not sensitive, and always enjoy a little back-and-forth, so have at it.

    Boston/Atlanta-Over 209

I like the Hawks here, but I'll be damned if I play them as a favorite.
~Boston is 6-2 OU playing back-to-back games and 12-4 on the road.
~Combined, these two teams are 17-8 OU in games where the total is set above 200.
~In all games with a spread less than 4, these teams combine for and OU record of 17-4.

    Orlando +6 @ Clippers

~The Clippers are fading, but you couldn't tell from the lines they keep getting. They've won only 3 of their last 12, with those wins coming against such powerhouses as the Trailblazers, the Bobcats, and an inconsistent, Yao-less Rockets team.

I'm against you on the Boston-Atlanta total because of the return of Tony Allen to the Celtics line-up. He's both an above average defender who makes his teammates better defenders, and a below average scorer who will make the C's offense rougher. The Dallas game went over last night due to the 70+ free throws the teams shot, but I don't see there being that kind of game flow verus Atlanta.

I got Orlando +6 also. I like the Clippers as a team and once they get Maggete back they will be good again but right now they shouldn't be laying 6 points to anybody. Boston and Atlanta have poor records cause they don't play D. They can go over 209 easy but I am passing on that one.

Good call. You think Celts games go under for awhile before the oddsmakers catch up?

Razz...I don't know...TA didn't play as much as I thought he would...the Celts made this one ugly because they had to, not because they wanted to...I'm not yet getting a clear signal from this team...I do think TA is the player to watch though.
