Really pissed I cancelled this right about now, live and you learn. I shouldn't have let the play being public influence me so much, especially when the public steam drove the line up almost 10 points.

I am looking at this Washington/Chicago game. The line really doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Washington is 8-4 while Chicago is 5-8 (2-4@home) yet Chicago came out favored by 3.5 and has gone up to 4.5 some places It really doesn't make any sense, this line should be a PK or -1 if anything. Connecticut has already beaten Chicago twice this year by 17 on the road and 4 at home.

I think the oddsmakers knows something we don't on this game. It could very well be the fact that Washington is on a rare back to back and they are coming off a win which makes it even harder to win tonight. They had to travel from LA to Chicago. Washington has been on a major heater lately winning four straight but this could be a big trap game for them. Chicago had lost four games in a row but won their last game @ CONN which is not easy to do. They should have a good amount of confidence coming into this game. It is very hard to complete the three game sweep of a team in a season. Bad teams win games in bunches and I think Chicago pulls it out tonight.

The Lynx have been hot lately winning three in a row. SA is just really bad, they have beaten one decent team all year in PHX. The other wins were against LA and twice against Tulsa. This team is just really bad. The only reason Minnesota is underdog so many is because Candace Wiggins is out but I think that will only motivate the team to play that much harder knowing they are one woman down. Ever since Seimone Augustus came back the Lynx have not been the same team, 4-1 ATS with her in the lineup. I think they can easily win this game, I am going to jump on this one a bit early.

Phoenix has also lost 3 straight yet are only +3 on the road today. This looks like a big trap for Washington. Phoenix has had a bunch of tough close losses lately but I think they pull of the win today. It will be difficult for Washington to keep up offensively with PHX, PHX averages 91ppg while Wash averages 75ppg. I see a 92-86 PHX win tonight.

I think you can get value out of betting any quarter/spread/total. You just have to do your homework. I don't know of any site that tracks 1st quarters and I haven't kept track of them by hand so I haven't taken a shot at any of them. As I start noticing teams that are better/worse in the 1Q I will start playing them.

Donk, public % numbers for WNBA are NOT reliable, with SBR or even Sports Insights. The sample size is way too small. For example, the other day SI had WNBA percentages based on total bets of around 150 for each game. And that's just # of bets, you don't know what the actual dollars behind those bets are.
