Because your time is worth more than the money to pay her off. Plus it's not worth taking the chance. Anything can happen in the justice system. Ask Mike Tyson... He did not rape Desiree Washington, she's come out later and admitted it. All she wanted was $1 million but Tyson's pride and ego wouldn't let him pay her off because he was innocent. Well that stupid move got him years in prison, he lost multiple millions of dollars being out of work in what was the prime of his life. That was a stupid move, he should have paid her off and got on with his life with a huge lesson learned. Instead he went to jail and started his decline. He probably would have went to jail later on anyway but you never know. That might have been the turning point for him positively if he'd only made the right decision.

Kobe made the right move. Why have the case on front page news everyday where intimate details are hashed and rehashed so your wife has to continuously hear about it, your fans have to keep hearing about it and your sponsors who already ditched you have to keep hearing about you. He sucked it up, paid her off and rebuilt his image. The girl was a psycho bitch to begin with. He fuked up and had to pay the price.

LeBron is a different guy than MJ or Kobe, sorry guys but that's the way it is. Sure I wish he had a little more fire about him, and if he every does it's gonna be scary as fuk!!! And I'm like you, a LeBron James supporter/fan 1st, if he leaves CLE so be it.
You guys are young and a part of the "me first" subculture of society. It's all about what you can do for me with no regard of anyone but yourself. Cleveland is like that good woman you dated, loyal to a fault, will put up with your shit, cooks, cleans, takes out the trash, will wait up late at night for you, won't question who your with and will bend over backwards to make you happy. Lebron is that ungrateful bastard who after all that still wants more. He want's more attention, he wants more woman, he want's more money, he thinks he's better than you. It never ends well with people that have no gratitude. If he leaves Cleveland this will come to fruition, I can guarantee it.

I know your young willy but you need to open your eyes and realize that there are pro athletes and there are role models. Pro athletes do drugs, drink, and cheat on their wives all the time. A role model is someone that you would like to aspire to be beyond a basketball court. Im sick and tired of hearing these soccer moms get upset cause so and so athlete betrayed them by doing such and such. I have a friend that parties regularly with Joseph Addai and the colts and does just what I listed above on a consistent bases. Tiger, Chipper, Boggs, Martin, Jackson, A-rod, Kemp, Artest,Magic, Jordan, Jabar, Elway, Manning, Big Ben, Iverson, Wade, Kobe, Shaq, Emmit Smith, Brown and others enjoy the pro llfestyle. If you think that Lebron is not out doing the same thing your just nieve. I could care less if these guys do un-ethical things off the field its irrelevant to me cause I dont know them personally, all I care about is how they perform on the field. Thats whats wrong with how the media portrays these guys to be and it gives false hope.

My son's a little too young for soccer yet but still.

I agree though with everything you've said. Why does anyone care what these guys do in their own time? I honestly could give two shits if someone is screwing 6 trannies while on a break during his Wheaties photo shoot. The only thing I care about is how they turn up on the day of a game. If I was a homer for any one team then I'd probably care if a player was outed for something but that's only because my team would probably suffer at least a little in the wake of the deluge from the media or a suspension. But I'm a gambler and more importantly not naive. If I were a dude and had the opportunities that these guys have as far as 'extra-curricular' activities are concerned, I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't be indulging as much as I could without putting my career in jeopardy.

No, I'm not going to take some points from Mac4Lyfe who worshiped Lebron all year then sold him out after a bad game, no thanks.

Lebron remains one of the greatest players the game has seen. The fact that you think a single game disproves that says a lot. When it gets revealed after the playoffs that he's been playing with a torn ligament in his elbow I would expect you all to retract some of your unfounded statements.

Tell me that \*\*\*\*\*\* didn't say that. If he did, that's why he is a arrogant pussy who will never win shit. Why didn't he "lead" his first olympic team to gold without Kobe? Fuk outta here with that shit. I wanted the Magic to tap that ass, but we'll settle for Boston's.

Where I'm from we have no major sports franchise, just a big college town, so growing up I was a MJ and Bulls fan. Now I root for LeBron and the Cavs. Where LeBron plays I will root for him and that team. Hopefully you and others can understand that, coming where I'm from.

I don't think LeBron is ungrateful, he wants to win and bad, but he also wants to maximize his celebrity, can't knock him for that!!!

If you dont know why people hate on lebron it aint no jealously its caus he calls himeself the king and I always wonder why he does that shit with the chalk before the game like he think he the greatest or something what up with that.Im a lebron fan but if he dont come back and win this series I could deff see why people hate on him when you call yourself the king and dont even get to the conf finals you aint no king james. Also i dont see any players who have proven greatness like kobe doing that chalk bullshit before the game lebron better prove him self tonight and i think he must just prove he the king I hope. Also lebron gots to win some chips soon when he gets older he wont be very effective he relies on his physical gifts size power and speed he is blessed with

People hate on LeBron because they are haters. Plain and simple. No two ways about it. Hate is hate, and a hater is a hater.

I can understand to a point. But don't you have an affinity for the Cav's after watching them the past few years? Just because one player leaves won't you still have some desire for them to succeed?

He has to be ungrateful when a team has done everything possible to keep you happy and you can't do the same. There is only 2 reasons why he has not re-signed with the Cav's yet. 1 - He doesn't want to come back to the Cav's. 2 - He's an attention whore and wants everyone to kiss his ass. Either way, Is this fair to Cleveland? I also don't think he wants to win that bad. Not with his effort in this series. I think him wanting to maximize his celebrity is the main reason he won't win a title. He's not focused on winning, nor is he focused on basketball. He's more interested in money than titles. He's more interested in clowning and playing around on the bench then respecting your opponent and the game.

The night before he accepted the MVP trophy him and several other Cav's stayed out late partying. How do you do that with such an important series? These are not characteristics of a guy focused on winning.

I can't wait to pull this thread (and many other equally ridiculous) ones up when Lebron either 1. Goes off for 40 tomorrow night or 2. Has elbow surgery soon after the playoffs end and you realize he's been playing with an injury MUCH worse than Kobe's damn arthritic knuckle.
where is his elbow surgery? it's been over a month since he got OUSTED shouldn't someone injured that BADLY get his surgery ASAP instead of worrying about his free agency?

Thanks for bumping this KF. I had to chuckle re-reading this thread all over again. Williams can't come up with an excuse for Lebron's performance. Everyone now knows that he tanked the series. What kind of guy does that??? Karma is headed his way.

he may get really injured as his karma because of making a fake injury for throwing his team

This was a nice bump Kobe. I have been eagerly awaiting news on the elbow surgery for the torn ligament in his elbow. I fugure he would have went ahead and had the surgery by now to get ready asap for the upcoming season.

I don't know about the elbow surgery but I'm hearing he's getting his vagina stitched up so Wade can get more feeling...

wait up, if cleveland is that "good woman" then miami must be a hot model. how many of u are really gonna turn down a hot ass chick for a regular one? how many would keep their ford taurus over a free mustang? would u rather go to AC or a free trip to Vegas? if u were in college, would u stay at home over a free dorm ??
