    Default Dallas -4

    Dallas -4

Anytime a popular pick is bound to cash, the books come up with gimmicks to sway the public away from making the right choice. This line opened at 4.5 points and with the public pounding Dallas, the books have cleverly initiated a baseless RLM to sway folks into doing GSW, moreso that GSW have a good (but deceptive) record against Dallas.

We witnessed the same thing when the Suns visited Sacramento. The line dropped from 3.5 to 2.5 points. It happened again as recently as yesterday in CBB when the enigmatic Syracuse visited Cincinnati. The line dropped from 4.5 to 4 points. In both cases (Suns and Cuse), the favorites took the underdogs to the cleaners! Same thing will happen today. Dallas will win this game in comprehensive fashion. If possible, they win by a margin that'll render all teasers on GSW useless!

Don't be fooled by the books. Make the right choice.

Gotta agree with you here. GS has looked horrible the past week and a half. Besides the majority of the players who helped GS own Dallas in the past are no longer there.

you sound pretty confident i like it no play for me though i dont trust the inconsistent mavs but i think you got a winner here im just liking orlando first half and orleans +10 point buy at the moment no plays though yet im always scared of these easy money plays that you got here with dallas like i was loving spurs and okc the other day but bitched out and they both trashed their opponents

All the facts here support a Warrior Win, or at least cover... i feel that watching odds like that only works on horses.. GSW WILL most definitely show up.. and Dallas will fade in this..

In Dallas on Wednesday the margin was 9. The 4.5 difference for home court is spot on. The opening line couldn't be more exact. The line drops to 4 because, so far, the largest amount of money is on the Warriors. All these tricky book conspiracy theories are hilarious. Doesn't mean you're on the wrong side, just a misguided angle. Anyway, I think the Warriors run Dallas off the floor tonight...

But these Warriors have fooled me before

    1. Most people would agree that dallas is the superior team with much more talent. gs lost 8 in a row; only 1 by less than 4 points their last win is against nj
    2. dallas lost their last game so a letdown is less likely
    3. fatigue factor should be the same no significant dallas injury while gs's corey maggette is doughtful

yet vegas made the line 4.5 and moved it in gs's favor.

Mavs or no play for me. Mavs use to be a great bounce back team but not lately. I think their poor play ends tonight. Warriors are without Maggette tonight and they are gonna need him. I know Monta runs circles around Kidd but that is really all they got for consistent offence. Not 100% yet but I will probably take my chances with a Mavs team who I don't think will take this game lightly. If the Mavs come to play this will be another repeat of the 50pt Knicks blowout.

Thanks for that about Magette. I didn't know he was out. I'm going to hold off and take Dallas 2H if I can get EL of -4 or better. GS could start fast, and if they did I'd love to have Mavs in chase mode rather than sweating Warrior threes if Dallas up 10 with three minutes to go.

    bang bang means umphaloompa

    % of bets
i have no idea how someon determines amount of money, but most ppl i believe u see 70% on spread, assume money is more on that side, and if line moves other way u call it opposite movement

maggette being out is big news. i didnt know he was doubtful, an earlier post said his injury is day-to-day
OPAH!!! good info guys.. just checked donbest and he even is supposed to miss Wednesdays game.. "Maggette is downgraded to expected to miss Monday vs. Dallas and Wednesday vs LA Clippers"

Yeah i think the best play here is: no play. This reminds me of people banging on like memphis -4 or -3 @ minnesota the other day. Bang minnesota comes out and beats em straight up - was a kinda slippery spot although memphis needed to show up - minnesota played real well the prior game

but anyway, GS is a good home team - its scary man... some bets are real scary.

you have to be a complete MORON to take GSW, even if you win W/ GS you're still dumb as bricks.

lines like these don't happen often. You'd have to be a damn fool to avoid this line. It's free money, take it, for as much as possible

Determine the amount of money, barring, injury, weather, etc... by the line movement. It is that simple. The books are not sticking their necks out because they like a side or have some trick up their sleeve. There is no need for them to do that. They have the juice. they want equal money on both sides of every game they book. The books have to answer to their bosses for their profit/loss. They do not want to show a loss and have "we were trying to trick them" as their reason for it.
