Default joakim noah out for bulls friday night beware

Chicago Bulls forward Joakim Noah will be shut down at least through the All-Star break, the team announced on Thursday.
Noah returned to Chicago from the Bulls current road trip to receive treatment on the plantar fasciitis in his left foot.
"We're shutting him down," Bulls general manager Gar Forman said on the team's Web site. "It's the best course of action right now. He's coming back to Chicago to get rest and treatment. We'll reevaluate it after the All-Star break."
Treatment for plantar fasciitis is rest. Noah is averaging 11.2 points and 12 rebounds this season.

he may not seem like a key factor but he is...

Joakim is definitely a big factor for the bulls. He's their energy big guy, and doesn't make stupid mistakes.

He's great competitor for bulls but we shall see whether the trend of teams with injured star players covering continues, especially when line moved big time. I like bulls +8.5

The Bull are going to have a tough time keeping the Hawks off the glass tonight especially since both Taj Gibson and Brad Miller are a little banged up. Also, the Bulls are dealing with a myriad of trade rumors so that could be a distraction. I don't expect the best effort from the Bulls tonight.
