Default Lakers ONLY at -1.5 tommorow at GRIZZ

Interesing here. Virtually a pick'em game. LA coming off a huge last minute win at Boston, and their 4th straight on the road.

This has letdown game all over it. Memphis plays good at home.

Buttttttt... I still think it would take a lot to take Memphis here. L.A is just far superior, and the way their playing right now. I'd be very surprised to see them lose this game.

Is this way too low, or just right>?

Im leaning to low, and playing L.A

I've tried talking myself into a Memphis win for the last half hour, and can't do it.

Lakers - 1.5, and Lakers roll.

if the LAL lose this game they wont win shit this year

if you cant beat a expansion team you should quit basketball

that being said MEM has improved this year alot

seriously... memphis may do good at home but what happened last season? cleveland was undefeated and lakers went in for the kill... i think memphis is just overrated.

Going Memphis on this one. I've been all over the Lakers recently but their little streak ends tomorrow in Memphis. They won in Boston last night but other than that they haven't beaten a decent team on the roadtrip. Lost to Torono and beat Philly Indy and Wash (all piss poor teams). And they didn't exactly look that great vs Bos either. They are going to be a tired team vs a Mem team highly motivated to not only beat the Lakers but to avenge that heartbreaker the other night vs the Hornets in OT (had won 10 or 11 in a row at home before that.) I got mine in at Mem +2.

A matchup of Gasol brothers! I'll probably go with the Lake show in this one. Any time you can get LA at a pick, I think it's a good bet. I realize they're coming off of a tough game against Boston today, but regardless--they were only 3 point dogs at Cleveland. Memphis, while playing well, isn't nearly as tough as the Cavs.

Are the books going to continue to let the public take their money? When was the last time LA lost ATS? Atleast 4 or 5 games now I think?

I like this logic... makes sense and Mem at home with +2 points with a Home Winning streak.

Grizzlies playing well but if I was to take someone I would take the lakers -1.5.
No play for me though on that spread.

Whenever the spread is low on a elite team versus a upstart team it usually means the books are baiting the public to one side. And the Lakers are the most public favored team there is. So with that I would take Memphis and the ML is even better. Memphis wins this straight up and the books make a killing thanks to those who bet with "the Lakers are way better than Memphis" mentality. Duh, who doesn't know this? The Books know something. The spread should be about -9. Automatic fade when the spread looks off and no injuries.

I've been on the Lakers the past four games and they've covered each and every time. This line actually seems like a trap to me, so I will stay away. But if I was to bet, Memphis +2 would be my play. They looked very tired last night against Boston. With the B2B, long travel, going up against a rested, young, and quick team...Lakers will need to play their subs in order to try to keep up with them. The younger Gasol will be up for this game and look to take one against Pau. BOL with whoever you choose!

exactly - the play may lose tonight, but i'll side with the books in spots like this every time. over the long haul, these types of plays get it done.

The spread should not be about -9. Indiana is only 6 points dog the other day and you expect Memphis to be 9 points dog?

Btw, I am taking Grizzlies here. at least for now.

Haven't bet it yet, but likely taking Griz ML close to game time. BOL all.

Its hard to take a team whose played 5 road games in 8 days against a team who always plays tough at home with a day off.
