I might be as square as they come on this one--but im playing the lakers. Better team; they will show up to end the long road trip on a winning note. Memphis is playing well at home, but they are still not a good team. Lakers win.

The Lakers bench makes this game pretty questionable

Kobe needs 28 points to tie Jerry West' all time Lakers scoring record. Will he do it today??? And how will it affect the team play Lakers need to beat this Memphis team. I like mem as of now. Let's wait till the tip off

It seemed like it almost cost the Lakers against the Celtics last night. He went 5 for 17 after hitting his first 3 and constantly forced ugly shots. I like the Grizz in this position because they have a chance to beat a top team at home and the Lakers are ready to end this road trip. I want to see this line move up to +3 or so, but I doubt it does.

Completely disagree. This is an 82 game nba season. You're bound to lose a few that you shouldn't. Nba teams just don't get up for every game, it's a fact. I would probably just stay away from this game.

seems like everyone on the forum is backing the grizz. Did you guys notice that Pau didn't even play in the fourth quarter last night? Was Phil just resting Pau so he could be fresh to take on his brother tonight?? The Grizz might not even make the playoffs this year and the Lakers are rolling right now finding ways to win and more importantly cover. I know the sharp pick is Grizz but gonna sit this one out as it will probably go down to the wire so if you are on Grizz get as many points as you can.

76 percent of the side money and 96 percent of the ML money is on the lakers..

we like the grizz cuz we beez sharper den daa pubblikk LOL

i mean thinking about it logically sure some of these landslide public bets can cash, however, over time the books MUST win more of these than they lose or they go outta business right?

    Grizz it izz

its the night of the dogs! dallas, grizz, and wizz!

i like the lakers, spread is too low, feels like something is up. after a win tough win at boston, and b2b, and grizzlies at home. i think its a stay away, maybe a small play on the lakers

I cant believe how many here are on Memphis. LA is the play ladies. Back to back on the road or not, they just have too much talent for the Grizz in 4 quarters. I could see the Grizz keeping it close all game, and Kobe and LA pull away for a 10 pt win in the 4th.

Guys, the books don't know "more" than we do. This spread is pretty accurate. You have an elite team on the road playing a team who's virtually .750 at home coming off their first home loss in like a dozen games. I like Memphis in this spot to win a close one at home, but the Lakers love to prove they can win anywhere on any night (as they proved last night). And let's not overlook the coaching match-up if this one does come down to the wire...

Line is spot on if you ask me.

I think we see max effort from Memphis tonight @ home. the Lakers will sleep walk through this one just to get it over with and on the plane home after their long ass road trip. Memphis goes on the road after this game to play in Cleveland tomorrow night. They know their best shot at winning either of these games is tonight. BOL to the Memphis backers tonight. Their isnt many of us....

johnqpublic is all over the Lakers tonight which makes me like Memphis that much more.

NOTE: lets not forget that while 70+% of the betting public is on the Lakers, the line opened @ -2.5 and is now -1.5.

i don't see memphis winning this game. we are talking about champioinship team here. i know LAL don't have a good record in away but come on memphis. i still think LAL is going to cover.

Was this a typo? Lakers minus 1.5? Memphis sucks. They are so bad. The only people in the crowd are usually the road player's moms. Did they actually win?

It wasn't a trap. The sharp money pounded the line for -2.5 to -1.5. Don't underestimate the importance of back-to-back away games.
