Nets have 39 games left - how many do they cover?
Over 19 +185
Under 20 -225
I would take the over
What would you say?

It may very well go over because now books are really on to them and will add 4-5 extra points that they wouldnt have otherwise.

I will take the Over. If they have any pride at all that is. Especially for their home fans. They are almost guaranteed the first round draft pick (from my understanding but I could be wrong!) so if they have any pride at all they will try and build even if it for next season. Right now though its hard to see. Another destruction tonight and still no sign of them turning this around. Anyone know what the worst % record a team has recorded in the NBA in recent years ? This nets team sure look like they might be headed for it !

The NBA has a draft lottery. Being the worst team guarantees jack shit. As for the over/under I want to take the over but are the books really gonna start making them 20 point dogs?

There will good spots for them throughout the course of the rest of the year. I would set it.. (assuming nickel juice, adjust accordingly for what juice you bet on)
o19.5 -105
u19.5 -105
I wouldn't bet on either, but if you put a gun to my head i'd take the over.

And you should be helping. People have probably lost a few games betting the Nets this year, but shying away from teams you have lost on in the past is foolish in that you are giving up some good opportunities.

I for one am going to continue betting against them until either the lines get ridiculous (20+) or they show they can actually be competitive. I think that day will come at some point, so I'll go with the over. But until then, I'm going to keep betting against them

post all star break they will start getting numbers where they would really have to buttf*ck each other on the court during play to not at least backdoor.

tonight was one thing, they were in a pretty bad spot, and this is the "we need to make it a point to finish games" time of year. but i bet after the break they'll be getting double digits every night and teams will do what they need to do to win and not much more and the nets will cover more than they should.

Anyone that has been betting agains the Nets thus far have prosper, but we all know the books will somehow play it into their favor by inflating the line even more down the stretch. It almost looks like New Jersey are tanking it in every game purposely. Best thing to do is stay away or wait til 2nd half to bet on them because they will always be in a deficit at the half.

I would say Under 19.5. Judging by their first half they are only ATS 13-28-1. However, assuming the books have made the adjustment then I would agree w/ you that an over can be taken a look at.
They are just playing horrible, no motivation, injuries can be a factor in second half, in addition as season nears end they will lose just to probably increase there chance at improving lottery draft pick. In addition, the teams they play near the end of the season (April) at that stage will have play against playoff bound contenders such as New Orleans, Miwaukee, Chicago, Charlotte, Miami and will be mostly road games. Only Indiana and Washington are the teams they will have a chance to beat and they have to beat these two teams on the road.

under vegas can still make tons of money with nets losing games as long as they keep the spread over 15 something like nets+21.5 people would jump on and still lose
