    Default Detroit +8

    Detroit +8

Ben Gordon is out for Detroit which moved the spread from 6 to 8. Detroit will cover the spread in this circumstance.

watch out now - I played the Pistons as well, and the line is moving because of news that Hamilton may not be playing, not because of Gordon.

    Thanks for the info.
It's good that the spread is on the rise. We know what happens each time a team is missing 1 or 2 star players and the spread is inflated by the books.

No. The shorthanded team will cover. This happens over 90% of the time.

Rip just ruled out for today... no Bynum, no Prince, no Gordon (?), no Hamilton - eeek.

Detroit is still beginning to warm up and recently beat the Knicks, so I think Detroit +8 is a solid pick, although I personally wouldn't touch it because of their billion game losing streak that just ended 3 games ago.

Not looking good at HT. TBH, Detroit sucks and we all know that. One just hopes for some fortune in the 2H.

    - backdoor is all we can hope for now... FAACK wish I knew Hamilton wasn't playing prior to pulling the trigger

When last did Detroit put up a good 2H performance on the road? We'll see, but it's better to consider this a loss right away. If it turns out that Detroit eventually covers, that'll be a pleasant surprise.

NYK 3rd Q and Final seconds fishy once again. A few FT misses at the end and an 11pt 3rdQ?

Before people think Im crying over a loss, I had NYK -6.5 and over in a tease at 185.
