paco, you ever think haters might be working for books? they see a couple of guys posting who're doing extremely well and they wait for a big loss and they zero in and get under the guy's skin to drive him off the forum.

the guys that do this never seem all that well known on the forum, and more often than not, it seems they also have low post counts ... like they've come on with a specific job to do, a modus operandi ...

The only positive thing I got out of this game was that I decided ahead of time not to watch it, but rather just look at the end result... Saved me 2 hours of torturing myself. However, even though it ended poorly tonight, under similar circumstances I would make the same play every time the opportunity arises.

There's something wrong with this site when people can anonymously trash people and hide behind their avatars. Thread creators should have the ability to filter or ban users with no positive input. We should all email the site admins here, I'm sure they're making money one way or another from all our patronage. Least they could do is keep order around the place.

I would like to say thanks to all of you that have supported my plays and followed and lost or won. I have been very kind here and been pretty thick skinned thru all of this but the time has come to become a normal poster. I will still stay on the forum obviously cause i like the site but i wont post plays anymore and i wont answer pm's anymore regarding plays. Once again i would like to say thank you to all posters who have supported me. I truly appreciate that and i wish you guys the best going forward and hope you make a killing going forward.

As someone that is new to SBR, I am not sure why anyone would piss on LB for his picks. At the end of the day it is still just his opinion on a game, and it's up to the individual to make the call on a game. Followers should never complain!

Alright, time for my take.

LB, if you are done posting plays I hope it is for the right reasons. I hope it is because it is just something you don't have the time for anymore rather then because these guys come in here and bash you. There are a handful of bashers and they bash a guy who has made everyone tons of money with his knowledge and plays yet they bash him? How is that possible? Because he is an arrogant douchebag? That is certainly not the case with Lakerboy as he is one of the nicest and most genuine posters on the site. So what other reason? The only one could be jealousy. Everyone loves Lakerboy and some people just need the attention so they go after the big fish. Just brush them off. Wins happen, losses happen, but the bottom line is that +180 units is what talks. Sure people can complain on a 20x pick that turned out shitty but how about plays like Jazz +1.5 10x, Lakers 50x, etc. I dare someone to dig back to all LB's 10+ unit plays and I bet you he is 60%+ on those and up tons of units.

LB I hope you realize that 95% of the people appreciate what you do here. I was not a blind follower but I always wanted to know LB's plays and if it was one that I liked I would take it. If I was on the fence on a game and he liked it then it was an autobet. If he didn't then I stayed away. But about 7 of my friends who don't even post stopped in here everyday and tailed LB blindly. You have made them tons of money over the long haul just like most others here.

Lakerboy's knowledge with line movements and NBA teams is really unmatched on this site. It's ridiculous that it has come down to this. Lakerboy I hope a good night sleep gets you back in the right frame of mind. The five haters who lurk in the shadows until a loss comes up and pounce aren't worth all of the good in this thread. When these haters aren't here this was like a family. Everyone got along, shared knowledge, posted picks, and we all rooted for each other even though we didn't bet certain games. It was great and the best thread I came across on SBR.

Not SBR's job to babysit in this thread, this reminds me of the Pags crap a few years ago when I was a mod here. You have to have thick skin on these forums, because we all know there are haters out there ready to jump on a small thing. Remember there is a ignore feature for that. He knows he is a winner, and the crap by the few boneheads should not shake him. SBR shouldn't have to babysit in here for him.

I don't know what is going on in here, as I don't follow this thread, but from the little I read..

To the people complaining, it is your fault for blindly following someone, and setting your unit size. You should only bet what you are comfortable betting, don't put your entire bankroll in jeopardy on one bet. Because I am sure Lakerboy is not. Be smart about things, and when you fuk up, don't go in someone's thread blaming them for it. It was your choice to follow, and set bad bet sizes.

I hope you stick around Lakerboy, and don't let the haters shake you off. Hit the ignore feature on the few boneheads, and continue having fun.
