Will be interesting but unless Durant and Westbrook both die today, the chances of an upset happening are as realistic of you needing a comb.

Memphis isn't as bad as u think it is. They were 10-13 with Gasol out, which makes perfect sense, because Koufos isn't as good as he is.

    Thunder in 7 games.

Portland beats Houston, and Charlotte will go at least 6 with Miami. Other than that I dont see any 1st round upsets. Nets over Toronto isnt an upset as they are favored even as the 6 seed.

Tough matchup but in the end OKC has superstars in Westbrook and Durant and its hard seeing them go out in the 1st round. This is the NBA after all and a superstar driven league.

Have u been watchin the NBA in last two years. Last season they went thru okc Westbrook less but physically manhandled them then the Clippers to the Western finals. Memphis is at full strength right now so Okc is going down too much defense and superior post play for them. Zbo gone have a good series

No deal. I just wanted to say, that Memphis has the 2nd best PF-C duo and they will cause a lot of trouble to Ibaka & Perk. Plus Conley and Miller can show up. They can't be underestimated.

You have the same chance of getting laid between now and the end of the playoffs as Memphis does of beating OKC.

The Grizzlies will probably have trouble scoring enough to win more than a game or two, let alone take 4 of 7 without homecourt advantage. Their top 2 scorers haven't shot very well against the Thunder.

Ibaka has played Z-Bo pretty well as Randolph shot 37% against OKC this season, his 2nd lowest against any Western Conference team other than the Spurs:

    5 for 12
    7 for 21
    6 for 15
    5 for 14

Conley has also struggled, shooting only 36.6% against OKC, also his 2nd lowest percentage against any Western Conference team other than Houston (Patrick Beverley):

7 for 13 (Westbrook played only 27 mins in OKC blowout)
    7 for 18 (no Westbrook)
    1 for 10 (Westbrook back)

If Memphis can turn a game into a knock-down, drag-out fight maybe. But just not enough firepower to take the series as they don't have much comeback ability if OKC goes on a run and they're down double digits.

Grizz rank 27th of 30 in points per game and dead last in 3-pointers per game for the 2nd consecutive year, even with the addition of Mike Miller this season.

Scott Brooks isn't Gregg Popovich. Pop did a great a job isolating Z-Bo last year and that's what buried Memphis.

this is a dumb thread. Memphis relies on two players - Randolph and gasol. you want to beat a legit nba title contender with two players? that doesn't happen in the real world, and if you think it does go back and watcha replay of grizzlies spurs last year. its the same fukin team dummy

OKC bench is the factor that will win the series for them.

Memphis is maybe the best half-court team in the NBA. The problem is that they're probably the worst transition team in the NBA. They are so slow and creaky, and OKC has enough youth, athleticism, and quickness to trounce them and run them to death. penetrate - Denver and Utah both almost did it on several occasions late in the season.

OKC in a relatively easy 5.
