Its actually a good bet and heres why, line closed at -14.5. With -6 the books believe they will destroy the cover giving a 1.5 point swing, its the lakers but in the books eyes the lakers cover both halves, kinda like the over 2h as well. Please defer from using that word in any thread

i got the over 2nd half and would lean knicks to cover the 2nd half as well. imagine it'll be a narrow cover either way, but the knicks tend to let it fly at the end in losing efforts, so i'd rather take my chances on the over.

whats up Shoe! you know im taking that over as well! game total was 212, i didnt take it, and i kind of doubt it will hit....but i can see the total hitting over 106 2h, it has dropped a point, which means lots of people betting the under, but what if NY comes out trying to play? even if the lakers go up big, points will still have to be scored.

Outscore them in the half alone. Final score doesn't matter here, just points scored in the 2nd half.

i hear ya, but in an instance like this, really, after the first couple of minutes, our over was toast. the knicks are really going to have to put on a fireworks show so the lakers don't go into "at bay" mode, which has pretty much already happened.

but look what's happening now. knicks letting it fly in a losing effort, as prescribed. i thought it would translate into an over, but i never would have thought there would such a disparity in the scoring between the teams in the quarters the way it's shaking out now.

i hope you cover the 2nd half, all of you who are on it, but the lakers will make you sweat these out even after they look easy after the third quarter, which is traditionally where they end their regular season games.
