Hey guys this is my 2nd post at this site. I have been following this site for a couple of weeks now and I am a beginner in sports betting. I also like the Raptors tonight. I coppied and pasted my first post to this thread Tell me what you think. I agree with the Raps tonight as weel and here's why.

This season they have lost against the NBA's elite (Spurs, Mavs, Magic, Suns, Nuggets) and they have fair well against the weaker and middle of the pack teams. They are 6 and 8 and of their 6 wins they have won by 10 or more and they won the other game by 7.

While the Pacer on the other hand have been very streaky. Starting the season with 3 losses then winning 5 in a row and currently they are on a 3 game lossing streak. The last three games they have lost to the Knicks by 7 the Cavs by 10 and then the Bobcats by 16. I dont see them bouncing back on this road trip either.

Tonight Im planning on placing these bets

Toronto -5 buying 1/2 point
20 to win 16.67

10 point teaser
Toronto + 4 1/2 vs Pacers
Lakers teased -4 vs Knicks
Warriors +23 vs the Mavs
Jazz teased +2 vs the Thunder

The line FINALLY moved in the game from TOR-5 to -5.5, but it took 75+% on the Raptors to do it. I don't trust the line, as a lack of movement like that says something to me. I originally capped it at TOR -2.5. Indiana has Foster & Murphy back while the Raptors may have Belinelli back, but probably not Wright. Add to that, Bosh has never played very well against Indiana in the past and there are too many things going on in this game for it to be as simple as it seems.

I was wondering why the line hasn't moved either.

It could be partially to several players being up int he air about starting, but in my experience, when the line doesn't move, it's almost always because the books like having most of the action on the side they think is going to lose. Especially on a day when 3/6 faves are -13 or more. People see that nice small -5 for Toronto that's begging to be picked and think it's a slam dunk because it's the least scary option available. The more I think about it, the less I think TOR will cover.

Good vid. I might add that the Rap is coming off a "mere" 8 point loss to the Magic at home on Sunday. Definite motivation here and the Pacers are road weary having just gotten crushed at Charlotte.
