    Default Suns @ Hornets

This is my opinion written in my season long thread. Anyone got any thoughts??

    Phoenix Suns -6 -117 (Matchbook)
Risking 3.51 Units to win 3.00 Units

LOCK THIS IN BEFORE THE LINE MOVES. I have no doubt it'll be -8 or more by tipoff! Phoenix wins 8 days ago by 24 at home vs a NO team that had CP3 and was playing much better basketball (if you can call what they've been playing basketball) Don't let NO's win against LAC 2 nights ago fool you, they are still a piss poor team! They have 2 wins vs LAC on the year, 1 vs SAC, and somehow beat DAL once. All other games with the exception of a 6 pt loss against NY they have been beaten by 17,10,17,16,20,8,&23...

How in the hell are they going to cover 6 against a suns team that can really play some ball?

I think a safer bet is the Under here. I think the Hornets will show up on national TV on their home floor.

What will they show? Can they show what they don't have?

That's kinda what I'm thinking, yeah, I know, at home on national tv.. blah blah,

I mean if they showed me shooting free throws in my driveway on espn I wouldn't suddenly make 10 in a row, I'd still miss about 8 of them!! because I AIN'T GOOD!! NEITHER ARE THEY!

Well Collison has manned the point relatively well and if Peja has a hot hand from the perimeter they stay in this game. My lone concern is Frye is a perimeter big which will pull West out of the lane. Emeka defending Amare will be the big story in this one. I just don't envision a blowout.

Ummmm has anyone who thinks Suns DON'T cover seen NO play defense?
    Yeah, good luck with that.

Suns are on national TV, too ... not just NO.
LOL ... I like this one a lot.

I just went for the ML straight up today.

Paylayed Lakers ML & Suns ML. $100 to win $60.

Suns $350 ML to win $100.

    Hornets under 104 $105 to win $100.

    Suns -5.5 (bought 1.5 points) $135 to win 100

Hornets scored 104 vs the Suns in their last match, and that was with Chris Paul. NO can certainly score w/o Paul as we've seen last night when they scored 102 on the Monday vs the Clippers. The NO have very rarely went Over 104 points this year. I just don't think they will do it.

Over...Suns play no defense, even the Hornets can put up a hundy spot....NO is not the defensive team they once were...I will take the opposite side of the public on this play and roll with the over...

NO will be bombing away from the outside against the Suns which completely lack perimeter defense....even philly put up 115 on the Suns,

I like this play a LOT ! ! I would take it at -10 for the Suns since the Hornest don't have CP3.

I am playing the UND 218.5.

I am not overlooking how bad the hornets are. The fact is new orleans could still only put up 22 point quarters, even against a soft d like the suns. I don't think we will see a massive OV cash that happened between these teams last week.

I bought Suns down to -6 and I am playing the over at 214. Good luck to all. Oh yeah, 1 unit on the side and 3 on the over....thats right ladies and gents, allday is feeling a bit confident about the over. That will probably come back to bite me in the ass.

I'm on the Hornets 1Q +2.5 (-103) & 1Q ML (+166). I feel like they'll cover the full game spread, but not strongly enough to play it. If the game is within about 8 by the half, either way, I'll be playing the Suns 2H.

    I like Phoenix -7 2nd half.

Showed few signs of life early in the first quarter but got their bearings back and won't lose to a CP3-less group of Hornets. Frye and Richardson just need to stop settling for bad shots.
