Default 11/16 NBA Dallas vs Milwaukee

Just put up a blog about this game here. I am going to be on the Bucks + the points and the over. Any thoughts on the game, line, or blog would be helpful and welcomed. Thanks!

Dallas has problems facing fast teams. Bucks play really good at home. WOndering if I should place my bet now or wait for the line to jump up a point or two. They might end up being favorites who knows

Thought about that too, but I could see some RLM for this game and it ending at a PK. I played +1.5 already, and will probably put some more on the ML if it comes out at + money. Thanks for sharing bud, and good luck to us!

Maybe I did, we'll have to wait and see, but he line movement says otherwise on both. I'm curious to see what your rational for Dallas and the under would be.

Im with Brakon on this one. I expect J Kidd to teach Mr. Brandon Jennings a thing or two tonight. Kidd, being the ultimate competitor he is, will take this one personal, and will do whatever it takes to distrupt and slow down Jennings. If Kidd can accomplish this task, I just don't think Milwaukee has the support to beat the Mavs. I mean, Hakim Warrick is currently there third best option, REALLY! Plus, Nowitzki has historically torched the Bucks.

The Mavs proved last year they could compete on the back end of two straight road games, by going 5-5 straight up, beating the likes of Houston, Portland, Sacramento and San Antonio. They are currently 1-2 in these situations this year, so it's nothing they aren't already used to.

Thanks Regul8er, excellent points and analysis. I appreciate you sharing that here, and I hope you enjoyed the blog even if you may disagree with the play. Good luck to you tonight!

razz......basically im going with mavs because they r better and even though i know its handicapping i just cant take the bucks....there a horrible team! they have gotten lucky in my opinion to get wins this season..their wins have come against below average teams such as their recent win at home vs. pacers......Lakerboy likes your pick without any reason like he normally does..which means an 100% AUTO FADE! last 2 picks lakerboy took without any explanation and he just saying "yep, I agree..with that one and its the pick of the night" it has lost....mavs win this and cover....and should be like 90 to 75 or so.....under and mavs

Thanks for explaining Brakon, thought you preferred to fade the public rather than siding with them though. Good luck to you tonight regardless.

First off, there is no reasoning here.

Second, the Bucks haven't played the Pacers this season! How are we supposed to take you seriously with this garbage? I really hope you don't play with real money. I mean, I know the amounts you claim to bet are made up, but I hope you aren't betting at all for your sake.

Also, remember that Dallas is on the back end of a road back-to-back. Jennings is going to give Kidd fits. This game is too close to call, I'll stay away. Good luck with your pick though Razz!

Oh Yeah by the way my bookie doesnt ask why I play certain games and I dont ask him why he pays me in $100 bills so the envelope isnt too heavy cause that would be way too many $20 and $50 notes. I love the Bucks tonite I have no reason I just think they will win the game and cover. If you want a reason take a look at the score last time Dallas went to Milwaukee.I am a square.

I think it'll go Over. The Bucks tend to score a lot in the 2H. So one expects the 1H to go Under and the the 2H and game to go Over.

    Nice blog Razz.

With respect to the Over, I agree 100%. The Bucks are a team that plays to the level of their opponents. The Under was 5-0 in their first five games, facing PHI, DET, CHI, MIN, and NYK. Since then, games against DEN & GSW have gone over. Dallas falls into the second group, in my opinion, as a team that pushes the pace of games, particularly in the second half. So far this season, the average Closing O/U and final game score for have been 198 & 192.6 for the Mavs, and 194 & 191.7 for the Bucks. 190 is too low of a total for this game.

Regarding the spread, I disagree with the call. I feel like this game will come down to the last few minutes of play, and the Mavs have excelled in the 4Q this year (5-3-2, and scoring an average of 35.8 pts in those 4Qs while on the road) while the Bucks have gone 1-5-1 in 4Qs this season. Finally, I can't help but feel that the Bucks are in a letdown situation here, coming off a huge offensive performance from Jennings. The Mavs are substantially harder to score against than the Warriors. The Bucks had to play hard to match up with GS, and even with the day of rest, I feel like their energy will be much lower in this game than in the last. The Bucks might well lead through the first half, but Dallas will surge through the 2H and take the game.

Thanks for the input suicide kings, very well thought out. Thats a great stat you mentioned for the over about the Bucks playing to the level of their opponents. Dallas is certainly capable of getting the win tonight, and I agree that this could be a very close game and go down to the wire. We'll just have to see who holds on longer I guess. Best of luck to you tonight and again, thanks for taking the time to read the blog and comment on the game.

If the Bucks play defense we would be winning. Their exchanging baskets.

Tie game 6 seconds left and you shoot a step back 3? Didn't you learn your lesson in the final seconds of the 4th?

The Mavs experience was the difference maker here. I'd take Kidd/Nowitzki/Terry down the stretch anyday over Jennings/Ridnour/Ilyasova

That was tighter than I would have liked. I was actually out of my chair for that last shot by Dirk... Both games I played tonight went to OT... stressful.

Yep, Dallas had a lot of composure down the stretch. i can't be too upset with 1-1 here, it could have gone either way at the end.

That was a bullshit ending. Keep fading Mavs people their luck will run out soon. I fukkin hate that ugly motherfukka Nowitzki.
