Default Toronto -5.5 vs the Bulls

How can you not like the Raptors in this spot? Chicago lost an emotional game last night, that they appeared to have won. Chicago is having to travel, expended a lot of energy in a defensive battle with the Nuggets, and are playing with a very short bench.

The Raptors who are much improved this year, were able to take 3 of 4 from the Bulls last year (with 2 wins being over 10 points). Bargnani and Bosh both averaged 25PPG vs the Bulls last year, and I just don't see who is going to effectively match up well with either.

Bargnani and Bosh being such a terrific athletes for big men, will pull Noah/Miller/Gibson away from the basket all night and create lanes for Calderon/Turkoglu and company. Chicago's big men are better suited to defend stay in the paint centers.

    I see a final of about 110-98.

    Default What stopped me..

    TOR plays no D
    CHI do
    * if the ref's don't favor TOR it could be closer than you think.
If CHI slacks on D.... TOR covers by many.........

His angle is the fact that Bulls just lost a close game against the Nuggs. A game the held a lead in for a majority of the time.

But I agree that their effort tonight will be lackluster.

Yes, your right sir....Toronto's defense has been atrocious.
And your also right, Chicago has played great defense. I just believe they won't get the opportunity to play as much interior defense as they'd like having to chase Andres and Bosh all over the perimeter. If the Raptors use this as their game plan (which I sure hope Triano does), there won't be as much help in the paint, opening lanes for Calderon and Jack to drive to the hoop or kickout for open 3's.

I could be totally off base, but this is what I anticipate happening.

    agree with toronto -5.5
    they can play inside outside
if lou deng covered bosh , still have calderon + jack to hit a 3 pts. bargnani can hit 3 pts too. typicall european players.

Goodness Gracious, not again! Whenever I pick a team on second end of back to back, they get pumped. Why is Chicago beating TO by 7 at half?? Clueless

    Chi shot 51%
Tor went to the line 13 over 8 for Chi. Look for Tor big men do the works later and win the game SU. Don't think Chi can hold up shooting 50+%

    Tor -5

Im from Chicago and I really liked Toronto as well at home. Especially after that loss last night. I figured the Bulls would come out strong and thats why I took the over in the first half...CASHED!!! but I thought Toronto would take control in the second. It hasnt happen yet. Still lots of basketball left.

I knew I was on the right side....it just took forever for the Raptors to wake up. I never should have had to sweat this one out.
