Last nights Magic-Bobcats was looking like an over and then the worse 3 point shooting team in NBA history started jacking up nothing but threes. The Bobcats were 2-18 late in the game and kept shooting. OKC-Sac got me with the hook on the over last night. Rook misses two free throws with a minute left in the game. Crap. Denver got me with the hook also last night. The low 4th quarters killed me last night.

Simply a bit of variance. Take Chicago, one quarter is 35 other is 11. They average around 22 a quarter for the game. The 35 is further away from the mean than the 11 so saying the low scoring quarter is out of whack without pointing out the 35 point high-scoring quarter is being mathematically biased.

Strange that my posts don't show up. I must assume since I am new here I am on some type of probationary review.

Just posting info for the fun of it, Clyde. Nothing scientific meant here my friend.

A 23-point second half for the Lakers. Amazing.

The Lakers only scored 8 points in the 3rd Quarter tonight?

I don't use the term fixed very often, but the above quote for many years.

    Take care.

Strange scores, I've seen some games in which for Cavs LJ sat out a Q and they looked hopeless or when for Lakers Kobe sits out a Q and they can't score but its weird how there are these freak low scoring Q's.
