I'll share it after I'm flithy rich and banned from all sportsbooks.
Let's just see how tonight goes. If it fails, you never see me again.
If it works, you'll know my name.

How about throwing darts at a board. That is like a 50% system guaranteed.
If its just algebra I think the forum can handle it. Show us, b/c we probably have heard it, or already use it.

10 games isn't anywhere near a large enough sample size to conclude anything from your new system.

not to mention "the system" consists of four of five favorites tonight. this system must be too deep for any of us to understand

Yea Patty, it did seem to pick mostly favorites, but it did give us LA Clippers as a dog, so I don't know. And some of the previously tested games were underdogs wins.
I'm aware 10 games is a small sample...but with the 5 games tonight...if the results continue..it will be hard to chalk it up as merely conicidence. I dont have time to test on more samples tonight...I have 4 college exams Tuesday morning. Stay tuned. If it works..we all kill our bookies tomorrow. Dont be so critical.

Wait a second.. you first went 10-0 and now 2-2-1 for a total of 12-2-1 and you are saying "back to the drawing board"? Still an absurdly small sample, so it's too soon to say it's good/bad. Post the formula and let folks backtest it. At the very least keep checking it.
Surely you're not hoping for 100% accuracy?

Ok. Home from college...I'm reworking the formula. I've spent way too much time on this.....I reworked the formula to make all results from last night a winner. So I will test it on the six games tonight..I will post picks before gametime...but right now...naptime

Cynical place, but pretty common in gambling forums. Good luck with your system, rarely see any with much continued success, but you never know.

If you get a good line on the Spurs, you go 3-2.
Anyway, that's not why I responded. Giving up after a 5 game sample is why I responded. I LOL'd when I read your going back to the drawing board.
You'll never know if you are onto a winning system unless you backtest your formula over atleast 1000+ games (actually preferably more, but 1000 should give you an idea whether its worth continuing or not).
5 games? LOL. Wow. You're just completely wasting your time if you're moving from one system to another after 5 games.

Keep posting on how it did tonight. I like stuff like this. I tryed something a few years back that involved PF and PA at home and away over a 50 game previous span. It kinda helped with the totals, but it was way too much work for the results I got. GL, let's see the results tonight

Ok..here it is...totally new system.
I'm actually going to parlay this, just for shits and giggles. Although I don't suggest you all do that.
I filled like 5 pieces of notebook paper just writing this formula, and testing it.
Here are Tuesday's Picks:
Orlando -3.5
Denver -2.5
Memphis +6.5
Sacramento +2
Miami -8
Houston +6.5
P.S I don't know crap about basketball, can't name one player in league. Had no idea Oklahoma had a pro basketball team.
This system is strictly math. Not one ounce of biased, or heart felt. Sekrah, and yes. I redid the first system after going 3-2. My goal is to make a 100% accurate. 100% might be a bit absurd, but I want it high enough to where someone could bet 1000 on each game, and come out ontop everynight. Not ever a losing night. Betting sports isn't like playing the lottery, where it truly is random balls spinning around a container. Sports betting is predictable, it's just no one has figured it out yet. Until now?

You do realize that this system cannot be considered a winner or a loser until it has been backtested on 500+ games at least right? You don't change a system because it gives 3 losses.

shoot for 60% over a long period of time.
anyone who comes on this board who's going for 100% is auto-fade material, because we all know they're full of shit and know nothing about the complexities of sports betting, how random it can be sometimes, and how good the books are.
