Default New NBA system: Bet against San Antonio on back to back nights

San Antonio's core players are old. If you've watched there games, this is obvious. They look slow. So betting against them on back to back nights makes sense. As of today, the system is 2-0. They lost to the bulls by 7 and lost to Portland by 12 tonight.http://forum.sbrforum.com/images/smilies/an_light.gif

    What are your thoughts?

I will update this during the season.

Can you think of any teams with a core of old player?

I don't want to burst your bubble, but the season just started. I think Poppovich will get his crew going, and like always will return to their old ways. I don't disagree that they are old, but the Spurs somehow maintain being one of the superior teams in the league.

Nevertheless, good luck with your system.

Since I am putting them against the spread, this won't matter. If they improve, vegas give them more points in the spread.

    well...since '05 they're 27-45 ATS with no rest.

that's a 62.5% win rate if you bet against them every time. its not really a 'system' though. it's just a trend you should strongly consider when deciding whether to bet a game or not.

utah's actually even worse on back to backs.

Poppovich will be resting them sometimes on back to backs, so yes, I agree.

interesting, but they are even older now which makes the system a little bit better. Maybe instead of 62.5%, it's 66%. Which would be amazing. I will keep track of them and Utah back to back ATS this season.

    Utah tonight vs. Cav. -13

This line is very high. I might take lines above 10 out of the system. Let's see what happens.

    2009 Spurs b2b ATS record: 2-0
    2009 Utah b2b ATS record: 1-0

cavs only won by 4. I may remove 10+ dogs from the system. It was obvious that the line was too high.

    2009 Spurs b2b ATS record: 2-0
    2009 Utah b2b ATS record: 1-1

Lol @ the title of this thread. Your system is flawed bro, San Antonio will eventually win some back to back games.
