Default Setup play with Spurs @ Jazz 11/5

Just a heads up for those playing the Spurs game tonight, they will play tomorrow night on ESPN at the same time in Portland. Should be interesting to what happens tonight and how most bettors will react on tomorrows game. I was leaning Spurs and under, but the line movement has me a bit gunshy. Last year I took the Jazz in their home matchup as an underdog and they coughed it up in the fourth. What are you guys liking for today, as well as a potential play for tomorrow?

Like I said, I'm leaning that way Mundane. If they win tonight will you play Portland tomorrow? And if so, at what number?

Thanks for the input mundane, the zig zag theory is likely to effect the opening lines for the Friday game. Could be a good spot to scalp the line, b2b games on national TV with no baseball should attract a lot of attention from casual bettors.

I like the Spurs. The Spurs are a better team and Utah hasn't been playing well lately even at home.

I'll take the Jazz, the Spurs are getting old, and the Jazz want to prove themselves as contenders. Dogs pay the bills.

Thats exactly what I was thinking last year Doc. The problem is that San Antonio released a few of their older vets and have added some new young(er) talent. Utah has some issues right now, but I'm more intrigued about playing Fridays game pending how this one goes tonight.

Spurs should win this game. They are rested and Jazz are garbage. The only issue I have is are the JAzz going to be 1-4sure why not they arent very good. The jazz are at home so its a tough play cause its a pickem and if i was picking im on spurs.

Tough, both of my leans here were way off. Looking ahead to tomorrows game. Spurs opened at +3 VS Portland, what do you guys think?

I was wrong as well with San Antonio, but at least I broke it even with the over. I'd lean portalnd tommorow, but more likely I'll take Denver -1 at miami.

In hindsight, I really think there was a correlation between Utah winning and the over, the Spurs just don't out gun the Jazz at home, they would have only won with strong defense and a well paced half court game. They looked slow and lethargic dealing with Williams and Boozer running pick and pops in the paint. Portland plays much closer to the Spurs style, I expect a closer game Friday night.

Jazz only won because they played on National television TNT specifically. I still don't trust this team...

I don't trust them either ST, but I feel like they won because they pushed the tempo and exploited a slower and older team in a tough place to play. Watching the pace of the game left no question as to who was going to win.
