So far this season D Wade and Heat have gotten off to a strong 3-1 start, beating their opponents by an average of 8.8 points per game in that stretch. The Wizards have been a small surprise as they have gone 2-2 after being one of the worst teams in the NBA last year, ans they have lost Antawn Jamison.
In the Wizards last 15 home games against the Heat they are 1-13-1 in covering the spread, and I see this stat getting even worse. Also Miami is 5-0 beating the spread against the Wizards in their last 5 match ups. Giving Miami a +3 margin is a crime in this situation giving their recent dominance against the Wizards. Look for Dwayne Wade to have a big game against the soft defense of Washington as the Heat easily stump this spread.
