" Okay let me get this straight..the Knicks are favored by 5 over another NBA team. I have to check into this, but in the meantime, I saw Dallas come back from a huge defecit last night against the Jazz and score 44 points in the 4th quarter in the process (WOW). Utah is a team in disrepair and they will not be the wallet stuffing Jazz of old this year. So now the Mavs go to play the Hornets; a team that is also not looking too good this year. I felt that they didn't do enough in the offseason to better their roster but who the f*ck am I? At least Chandler had some heart and showed it. Okafor is a zombie onthe court and doesn't give them the energy boost that Chandler would. They are missing that. Scott has also cut back on Posey's minutes for some inexplicable reason, and Stoyo is relegated to second stringer status. Mo Pete is wahed up too. So why am I backing them in the 1st half of this game? I have no idea...But it just feels right.

Hard numbers in 5 first halves against the Mavs at home the Hornets have covered 2 out of the 5, but they have been ahead in more than not and winning by an average of 2.5 points. But the funny thing is that they have been favored by an average of 2.5 points in the 1st half too, so the linemaker has been spot on.

However, the Hornets have lost market appeal and that translates into value. This playoff caliber team can be had for a bargain basement price. The truth is that the Hornets give Dallas problems. And catching the Mavs on a back to back after they had to use so much energy the night before is a good thing for the Hornets. I am estimating this game to be a (PK) so I will take the Hornets in the first half to get off to a good start. You will get the Hornets best effort in this game. I will more than likely play them again in the second half if the first doesn't work for 2x the money to cover any potential loss.

The Raptors have had a few days off to work on ironing out the kinks. After two straight losses the last of which was at home against the Magic. Still that's not an easy feat. The Pistons overacheived and beat the Magic, which makes them an auto fade having faced and beaten the runner up in the finals last year. These are not the same Pistons that have enough talent to win consistently night in and night out, so I will fade them in the first half with no problems.

Indiana is having a hard time this season to be sure, but are they 5 points worse than the Knicks? C'mon. I'm not going for that one. Indiana is a perfect 5-0 in the first half at being tied or ahead at the half in games in New York (51-51, 53-44, 55-55, 53-46, 45-40 And New York NEVER lead in any of these games at the half. With them coming off of the BIG win over the Hornets in their last game out, I will back the Pacers in the first half as they are beyond desperate for a win at this point.

The guy makes up plays and lies about his record. Even on his own forum. This is just a scorekeeping exercise. I'm not paying for his less than stellar picks. I'm just keeping a score of his so called free picks, because they suck so bad.

Here are some "member complaints":

Same OL CK, cool writeups, but still the same ****ty picks, only now he's charging for the ****ty picks. "I'll take my loss and move on from it" you seem to say the move on thing alot. What about the people who are paying for your picks and losing their asses betting, should they just "move on too?"

If you and sexyturd can't pick winners, maybe get out of the business. Or do the writeups have that many people already hooked, that they would rather lose than win?

i tracked CK's baseball picks on a spreadsheet myself for awhile this summer to see if it was worth tailing...i wasn't impressed.

i like the hornets pick though.

Bravo for exposing this. I hate to beat someone down who can't defend themselves, but his "system" for 1 innings was a bunch of BS too. I remember vividly questioning him on it before the season began and he got all pissy with me when I knew his numbers weren't legit. I'm not the damn forum police, but some people just starting out will fall for this shit, you had people comin out of the woodwork kissing his ass when there was no hard evidence to back it up. And what do you know, a few months later went tout. Sick business, with slimeballs preyin on the weak.

Look, there are plenty of touts who have win percentages under 50%. At least with CK you get some entertainment on top of it, and his Secret and PC Plays were documented last season right here and the record was impressive.

If you hate touts then just ignore him. Personally I like the way he analyzes games, whether he's right or wrong it's entertaining. And I don't tail him or pay for his picks.

everyone who followed that jgbgsox (& someone else...i forget) vs. sexymit/ck playoff thread should have made a crapload of money. both teams were hitting 70% basically the entire run. i know i came away with a couple grand.

i lost money tailing their wnba picks though, because they got all sleezy with the lines. taking them in the perfect spot at 1:31 in the afternoon (for instance) at a different book each day....for the 15 minutes it was at that good of a line. then if i didn't buy the points i'd end up losing by a point or 1/2 point, and if i bought points every play, the 60% win rate wasn't good enough to make a profit playing everything at -120 or -130.

pretty lame to have a fade thread. who cares if he's good or if he sucks. at least he gave write ups with reasoning in them. which showed he actually made his own picks - and those write ups helped people learn what they should be looking at when capping.

side note- those secret plays were great early on, which showed that they are a great system to follow for the 1st half of a season. But later in the seasons they tend to crap out. just remember black saturday last year in college hoops, where somethin like 9 out of 10 secrets lost. then the next week the numbers were similar. I like the secret play system, but i found it's only profitable 1st half of a season. then the majority of teams tend to improve and not give up 1st half blowouts.

i personally thought CK knew his shit. problem is, in gambling anything can happen, no matter how good your reasons are. But at least he was cappin and not trying to pass off paid for picks as his own - like some people did. and we all know who everyone loved last year that was winning when posting paid picks, then when he was called out, he lost at an amazing rate...at which point he left for a while.

i only followed cuz machine won something rediculous like 20 in a row. - it was obvious he was using a piad service. so i just figured, let him pay for the service, and why shouldnt i make a little off his generosity? and those tailed bets i made were small.

95% of my bets are my own picks. that way i have nobody to blame. and even the ones i tail sometimes, are ultimately my choice anyways.
