Tayshaun Prince is a non-factor anymore IMO at this stage of his career. His play has been deteriorating rapidly the over the past year. His thin frame has been battered and bruised to pieces. He had very bad year last year, and has not looked good at all to start this year at either end of the court.
Him being out wouldn't change my opinion of a game. If anything, I'd be more kind to Detroit's chances.

His agility/quickness and anticipation skills on defense are nowhere near what they once were. He's getting beat up by more athletic, but otherwise average players, where he used to shut them down.
