You see boys & girls, that's why you don't lay 8.5 or 9 with the Lakers.

They have a long history of loafing in 4th qt of blowouts and allowing teams to cover.

im not sure where you are getting info of them loafing in the 4th quarter, as they often win games by 20 or more. if you would have gotten the game early at -6 there would have been no problem, but im sure many ppl were killed by the hook

I've been a Lakers fan for 20+ years..... this is nothing new where they are up 20+ and just win by single digits.

When I posted this pick, lines were at 8.5s and some 9s. I'm not gonna post an opening line hours later after they were available. That's what pags does, not me.

Of course playing a huge ML is risk. Anyone that plays 50% ML has a much better chance of staying in the black than a player that plays 100% ATS.

Lines are fu_ckin sharp.

You lay 1k on a ML, sure you're fu_cked if it loses but that's gambling. But it's a lot better to get that 300 back instead of praying for a dd rout, or what have you.

2 big ML losses at -385 or more will bury most gamblers....you have no idea what you are talking about

I usually don't bet MLs in baskets that much. When I do, they're usually dogs. But again, Lakers were 16-3 vs. the Hawks, so I felt ML wasn't as high a risk as the spread.
