I'm just following the guys I find reliable. Maybe I will play some NBA this season if I have the time. I have only played 3 soccermatches this month so far. Work is taking a lot of my time right now.

Welcome back guys. I finished +57.33 units with 1-7-5 last season. I started the season with 7/5, then decided I was going to play all the (A) bets as well for 1 unit. Didn't start doing that til mid December. Be nice to see how a whole season of it will do. I also don't believe that I skipped any JM bets at all.

Hi Wiz, as I understand it what you do is as follows - On the 'A' Bet, you bet to win 1 unit. If this is successful, all's well. If it loses, you play the 'B' Bet to win 7 units (plus the amount lost on the 'A' bet). If this wins, great. If not, then on the 'C' bet you bet to win 5 units (plus the amount lost on Bets 'A' and 'B'). If this wins then it's trebles all round. But if it loses, it's down to the bar anyway to drown your sorrows. What I can't remember is whether or not you buy the extra 3 points on this system as per JM. Sorry about that - early dementia creeping on.

Yep, that's what was at the back of my mind, but I'm just not certain. Probably find out for sure shortly. Re the NFL, I quit that 2 years ago and don't even look at the threads now. Looks like this year's much the same. Fingers crossed that it changes soon before too much capital is lost. Best wishes.

Wallco Chase 110 - No 3 point buying. Spread on dogs, M/L on favorites (for now).
    7/5 - No 3 point buying.
I play 1-7-5 for the JM plays. - No 3 point buying. I play ALL JM plays, not the filtered plays of the 7/5, and all (A) bets for 1 unit.
Traditional JM - Buy 3 points, M/L on favorites.

I hope people realize the 1/7/5 is a lot more risk than just 7/5 in general. The 1-3-5 and 7/5 were based on traditional series risk.
    1-7-5
    A) 1.1 to win 1
    B) 8.91 to win 8.1
    C) 16.511 to win 15.01
    total risk 26.521 units

    7/5
    A) skip
    B) 7.7 to win 7
    C) 13.97 to win 12.7
    Total risk 21.67

Just want to make people aware of total risk. Everyone has a different comfort level. Wallco did you ever finish back testing 1-7-5? I know it out performed other JM betting strategies last year as it should of with a higher risk.

Also anyone working on putting a schedule together for this season? NHL scheduled is already posted. Still have a few more weeks.

Also Hagball or ON3 are you running the labby lines this year for JM system? I know it was mentioned previously...

Still not sure if I want to run labby lines, 1-3-5, 1-7-5, 7/5, or standard capping with this system yet. I believe labby will miss out on a lot of profit compared to 1-3-5 or 1-7-5 because both are based on loss recovery.

no NBA labby for me, at least not the whole way through. i might labby the A bets and then 7/5 the rest. but that wont be posted because there will be enough clutter as is and since everything is -110 it should be easy enough to track without daily updates.

The jury is still out for me. All I know is I won't be buying any points and I won't be playing any high juice money line favorites. I'm doing my homework now and will have something figured out by the end of the month. I'm in this for the long haul so a steady modest profit is fine by me. Not looking to get rich overnite but at the same point I'm not into spending a whole season to break even or win a couple units.

I am on the same board, but if I can win 6-7 units per system per month I am a happy camper. It does not sound like a lot, but I am following four systems, so that nets me 25 units a month on average over the next 8 months I will have a 200% return. Important for people to break down how much they want to win so they can control their bankroll.

True, the risk is higher, but you only need 5 (A) bet wins to make up for the extra 5 units this strategy costs. There are also more plays, since we are playing EVERY JM bet, not just the filtered ones. I am not trying to sell anyone on it, people can play whatever they want, I was just stating that I am playing that way and I was very happy with last years results.
