How did everyone do this opening day??

I had a hell of a season opener...

hit OV 183 on CLEV/BOS (bought .5)
hit UND 208 on WASH/DAL
hit UND 102 2H on LAL/LAC

lost on CLEV -3 (bought 1.5)
lost on LAC +7 1H

All in all, +2.5u

Not bad for opening day.

I was so fortunate not invest too much on CLEV tonight.. just had em in a 3 teamer. I bet a lot of people got burned by that lack luster 2H performance. Fu_cking cavs. Thank GOD Pierce hit both his foul shots to bust through that over. There was a lot of action on the OV on this board. Very lucky.

sucks to lose CLIPS 1H... should have been on the game. Maybe they won't be so bad this year?

I'm not really comfortable with their abilities without Blake. We'll see. Pretty suprised LAKERS didnt cover that one.

Theres big time games tomorrow... MUCH more to work with!

PHI/ORL- I don't see how the SIXERS could be a play here. ORL -9 is sort of steep though. Thinking about a 1H play on ORL.

CLEV/TOR- TOR is certainly not up to speed as BOS. I don't see any way TOR wins this one- CLEV -5 (buy .5)

NYK/MIA- UND 208.5 looks tasty.

DET/MEM- I don't know why I'm suprised DET is favored in this spot... DET -2.5 seems like the play although I'd like them at PK

UTAH/DEN- +6.5 seems too generous to give a JAZZ team that could win outright. UND 209.5 is tempting. Lets see if it goes to 210+

PHO/LAC- I don't have a line on this yet... LVSC opened it at LAC -1. If thats the case PHO is a play for me.

I ended up playing:

UTAH +200
PHO/LAL UND 217.5
MLB- PHILLIES +164

I was so confident in the PHILS winning this first game. The problem, I parlayed with the PHO UND 217.5. Looking at 130 now in the 3Q, so hopefully this b_itch cashes.

UTAH is also looking good, but NBA is dependent on 4th Q. I pray this JAZZ team doesn't lay a sh_itburger.

I had a terrible eye infection today. It was bloodshot red, I couldn't even go to work. It's better now, I flushed it throughout the day and slept... I still think I should see a doctor though. I would have posted plays but I felt like dog s_hit. Eye infections suck as_s.

The 2 teams I'm liking tonight are Chicago Bulls and Denver Nuggets
because both teams are heavy scorers, and great re-bounders.

I've been out drinking all night...

missed out on all the games tonight including game 2 of the WS.

I just got back home, was watching DEN/PORT at the bar. I think DEN is under performing. Match that with the foul trouble the BLAZERS are in- I think DEN +anything for this 2H is a great value.

What a low scoring game! Never the less, 99 seems just about right.

NYK/CHAR- Toss up, but no reason not to like the KNICKS tonight. NYK +1.5

LAC/UTAH- As much as I like UTAH they have been disappointing me so far. CLIPS have been playing tougher than I expected without their star player. ML is tempting, but LAC +8.5 is solid.

ORL -6 1H possible play

OKC/DET- OVER
Total is moving about right now. Waiting on this one to get to 190 or lower. I will buy .5 on whatever it is, hopefully 189.

GS/PHO- The UND 232 is very tempting here. Almost too good to be true. I think GS does have a great chance to win this game. Crazy movement on this one. ML dropping under +200. Yikes. The early bird catches the worm. I don't think I will have a play on this.

LAL/DAL- leaning LAKERS -8 to cover a damn game tonight. I would like 1H if it was 4 and not 4.5. I would like to play the total on this game but 204.5 is not right for me. No play on the total. I will be watching this game looking for a 2H play if I don't play the game line.

Trying to find more totals to play.

Tough night. The KNICKS losing in double OT didn't help. CLIPS fell apart in the 4Q after hanging with the JAZZ all night.

Halloween is gone.

Before we go withdrawing our hard earned cash to buy Christmas presents for people that never give us anything cool, it is time to move into the best month of the year- NOVEMBER.

Every year I've had a booming NOV. With CBB just around the corner and after a lackluster performance in wk 1 NBA, I look to rebound with some good ole' football action.

NFL plays 11/01

NYG/PHI- I really like NYG in this spot at -1. I also like this OVER. Mannings favorite passing target, MANNINGHAM is out this week. PHI has WESTBROOK likely out- hopefully the EAGLES will find ways to run the ball without him. I don't like a NYG play with MANNINGHAM out, so I will go with the total on this.

NYG/PHI OV 44.5

ARZ/CAR- It doesn't really mean much of anything but ZONA beat the PANTHERS by 20 points in the preseason. Moving on, CAROLINA is in trouble here. If this team thought playing at DALLAS was tough, imagine what this ZONA offense is going to do to these guys. Even if CAR defense somehow allows a mere 3 TD's, that will be no problem because CAR offense may not score more than 10!! Factor in turnover prone DELHOMME playing without MUHAMMAD... please. ARIZONA by 2 TDs+.

ARIZONA -9.5 (-120)

SEA/DAL- I think both of these teams under achieve and I'm rolling with a great number here.

SEA/DAL UND 46

((MNF)) ATLANTA/NEW ORLEANS- Best team in the league playing a so-so 25th ranked defense. This SAINTS offense is not the 49ers gentlemen. The early bird catches the worm (-8.5). Unfortunately I drink and slack off until the last moment. It's steep, but I'll take the bait.

Thanks buddy! I just don't understand why the SUNS are doing well this week? I just pretend their as_s kicking of GOLDEN ST never happened.

the LAC are not a whole lot better than the TWOLVES. MINN is under rated IMO, not that they're going to post a great record because they will be building their program but c'mon +13.5 is like a freakin teaser... for -120? I will take it!

No reason DEN doesn't beat up MEM pretty good. UND 206 is a 50/50 but I don't see MEM even scoring 90.

Only thing that worries me with the Suns game is if Steve Nash has another amazing game. I got a feeling lighting won't strike twice in a couple of days though.

Allen Iverson missed his third straight game while recovering from a partial right hamstring tear and is expected to make his season debut for the Grizzles on Monday night at Sacramento.

I'm wondering what effect IVERSON will have tomorrow night, assuming he even does play?

The KINGS aren't very good at all and it seems a 2nd straight road game for MEM after what had to be exausting trying to oust the NUGGETS favors an UNDER here.

This GRIZZLIE team is unpredictable.

They put up 115 against DET in preseason, then 74 in the regular season. DET D is not so great. I never thought this team would put up a 40 piece in the 1Q tonight...
