    I will be making my season long NBA picks in this thread so as not to grab too much board space throughout the year.

    i feel the celtics game is going to be high scoring, 178 points were scored during the 1st game in preseason. Both teams are fired up and they both have very able scorers. Although, I'm not betting on over or under, I would go with over 185.

    I'm just going historically... Don't remember the numbers offhand, but the 2 teams combined are like 1-7 o/u the last 4 yrs openers.

    Both teams have added scoring over the summer. Just something to keep in mind.

    I am leaning this way, not confirmed yet, anyone give me any reasons why Portland is favored so much over (IMO a better Nuggets team)??

    Denver Nuggets     +9.5 -145 Bought 1.5 pts
    Risking 1.45 units to win 1

    I have no idea how good the books think Portland is, but it can't be this much better than the nuggets can it?? I bought an extra pt and a 1/2, so they'd have to beat em by 10, I just don't see it happening... Is there something I don't know?

    I agree. I feel the Nuggets are a better team by about 5-8 wins this season. Also, I don't expect this team to have letdowns on road games with Chauncey at the helm and Carmelo's newfound motivation.

    Thanks for the insight... Just wanted to hear someone else agree.. I can't see they being that much better.. +8 is a lot, but I did buy 1.5 to get it to 9.5 so lets just wait and see.

    Ok. Here's my 3 for today, 3-1 so far this season, hope it keeps up.. Also, If I was yall I'd sure jump on the Toronto Game. But damn near looks too good to be true, hope it's not, if it loses they can gladly have my 3.3 units. Looks good to me.
