No, they are not even close to a lock. An aging Dallas team is facing a newly rejuvenated Washington team. Dallas started last year 0-4 at home. Wizards are the play here.

even though mavs have no howard, they have marion instead and he may not be as good as howard but it is close. Marion plays great D and they got too much firepower. If Jameson was playing it would be a different story but the Wiz big three is not complete. Maybe Foye picks up some slack, but not enough.

............lakers -11 is a lock??? what? i would stay away from this game....could go either way.....think about it.....lakers are obviously raining champs and are playing well going into season from preseason, but gasol isnt playing and odom hasn't been playing well in preseason which doesn't mean he wont play well in this game but it obviously isn't good. The clippers could easily lose by single digits......heres the way I am gonna decide this game if i would bet it......question 1: Do you feel that the Lakers will score more than 100 points? if yes then u must decide if lakers will hold clippers below 90.....WON'T HAPPEN! no way! clippers are at home since it is at staples center even though they will be wearing dark road jerseys.....baron davis, al thronton, kaman, and gordon are playing well entering season and baron lost weight and looks in great shape......If i were to bet this game I would put 110 to win 100 on Clippers +11
