Please don't come into a thread with something useless like this. I respect Lakerboy, I just feel strongly that the Raptors are a bad pick, nothing against him.

Lakerboy is a good gambler he proved it last NBA season don't knock him.

I didn't realise the setup the cavs were playing was so different in that pre-season game williams so I will take that into account and thanks for the heads up. The fact that the celtics had even bigger leads than the final margin the other night really made me doubt them this year but last season's home record against the celtics is tough to bet against. I will stick with my under bet I think.

Never read much into preseason outcomes. It's almost as useless as Spring Training. For example, look up Lebron's rebounding numbers for the preseason. About 3 a game. Even if you adjust his minutes to what they are during the regular season, it's no where close to his normal average because players don't care about the preseason. The big names don't play hard. They may focus on their shooting form, but you won't see guys going hard after rebounds or diving on the floor for lose balls.

The under also scares me here as both teams are great from outside and have added even more shooters in the offseason.

I may play a first quarter or first half Cavs play here once I see the lines. BOL

Yes saints was an easy cover. They had it all the way. Of course you didnt bet wild but if they covered 1.5 you bet them right. Books love my deposits lol moron you dont even know who i am so go and get back to your bottle. You have this need to type bold to try and feel important. You are a waste of time. I have nothing to prove to anyone my bookie hands over the envelope with cash every week. Did you notice how you become absent with plays for spells of time cause thats when you are getting buried. Nobody forced you to read my posts but for some reason you keep doing it. If you faded me for a living you would be burried 6feet. Go and have another drink.

ST, with all due respect, did you watch the Cavs last year? They led the league defensively for 90% of the season and were top 3 in offensive efficiency for most of the year. Not to mention they added Shaq, Parker, and JAMARIO Moon to an already high scoring lineup. The Celtics may win this game, but it has nothing to do with them having too much offensive power. Ray Allen is routinely shut down by the Cavs. Usually the Cavs struggle to guard the combination of Garnett/Perkins/Powe (who is now a Cav) down low. With the addition of Shaq this year, I don't think that will be a problem.

You've watched how many NBA games? The Cavs have 3 all-stars from last year, plus about 8 other guys capable of having double digit nights.

When is the last time either of these teams been able to win against the other on the road??? Like 3 or 4 years ago?? Plus none of the games have been close. Cav's win at home, Boston win at home. Cav's win at home tomorrow night. Why over think the damn obvious

I would completely agree with this if not for all the new pieces the Cavs are working in and the distraction of Delonte. 5 games into the season this would be an easy pick for me, but for Game 1 I'm not as sure. I will play the Cavs first half for 3 units and the Cavs -3.5 for 1 unit. Good luck!

Whoever said the Celtics don't care about this game, they are looking forward to playing at home tomorrow... LOL.

Some people amaze me with their stupidity.

Agreed. Both teams have been playing the lowering expectations games, just like prior to political debates. This game is important for both teams, whether they admit it or not.

Furthermore, the Cavs have been trying to lower expectations in all of their recent interviews. They haven't let Delonte speak to the media, yet by all accounts he has been playing well in practice. Shaq is talking about not knowing the plays yet, Lebron is saying it will take a few games, and Mike Brown has said there's still a lot to work on on both ends of the floor. The Cavs are entering this season with even higher expectations than last year, given the newcomers and Lebron's free agency after the year. I think the Cavs may have been playing a game with the media the last few days. Only time will tell tonight.

Your over analyzing this... Cleveland has had new pieces every year and even in mid season and the results have all been the same. Cav's win at home, Boston wins at home. Why would things change this year
