NBA preseason: Hawks -5
Hawks -5
Washington Wizards travel to Atlanta hoping to get a 3rd straight preseason road win. Yes, on the road, the Wizards did beat a crumbling Pistons and a James-less Cavaliers. My Hawks pick is based on:
1) Wizards aren't good enough to win 3 straight road games
2) Hawks haven't lost at home and their first home loss won't come against the Wizards.
I'm not buying points.

Took them as well simular reasoning. Wizards were not impressive so far and their defense seems soft. Expecting a high scoring game where Hawks have been good so far this preseason scoring around 110 at home and with Wizards missing Jamison they'll need a lot of extra points from other places which I don't see happening.

Thanks but I'm mostly hoping to win my bigest bet which is Orlando at -3 1/2. I see them blowing the Bulls out by a lot. So far the line is moving in the right direction Orlando is now -4 and Atlanta -5 1/2. Feeling good about my picks today let's make some money!

Houston won't go 1-2 at home in preseason. They'll beat OKC handily to earn a 2-1 preseason record.
Good call on the amount of points the Hawks are putting up. I haven't seen them play yet, but how are they putting soo many points up? Are they running more? They played the full 24 seconds last season before getting shots off.
I mostly just check the stats and read the realGM forums about how the team is doing and clicking at the moment. Atlanta got thought and so did Huston but man today sucked as Barnes couldn't make both freethrows and got me down big with Orlando not covering. Stil all in all happy with picking the teams and the thought process was solid for all the choices - no detected mistakes and just unlucky with the result.
