My first bet for the NBA season comes in the form of a prop. I like the Celtics to get over 56.5 wins this season. I see them as a true contender for the Eastern Conference. With KG back in the line-up, and the addition of Rasheed Wallace in their arsenal, I like my chances to see the Celts surpass 57 wins. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised to see them achieve 60 wins this season again.
The odds I have are:
over 56.5 -135
over 57.5 -110
Thinking about paying the extra juice as insurance, and taking the over at 56.5
Honestly, I don't see the value here. The Celtics big 3 is getting old and they are injury prone. Doc Rivers would much rather rest aches and pains and take a few extra losses if he is still guaranteed the 3rd seed in the playoffs. I see 54 or 55 wins for the Celtics.
