Well AI isn't playing tomorrow and Ben Wallace might be familiar with the personel around him, but the style is totally different from when he played there. Rip has gotten progressively worse every year and I don't trust him same with Prince. I don't think two much of them on the team and actually consider Hamilton the cancer that killed the Pistons season last year not AI.

I am leaning the Griz. Pistons just have way too many people that "need" the ball. Memphis during the pre-season averaged more boards than thier opponent in the offseason and they are focused on defense. I see the game being close, more so than a blow out Detroit way which is what the public think. Definitely take the points here.

    Other games to look at-

    Houston/GS over total pending line.
    Spurs/NO under 186
    Cleveland under total pending line.

Not sure about games tomorrow, I do like Miami as rag has stated. Anyone know why NJ is a two point dog to Minny? Minny are going to struggle in the front court as they're missing decent big men.

    Added Play for 10/28 (BOOKED)

    *Sleeper Pick*

    Raptors +5.5 (1.5x)

    Raptors ML (1.5x)

Gonna try this play.My friend told me this from another guy, which he said and I quote "This is a secret insider play". Note that i'm just tailing what my friend told me about this play,so it means a risk play.So i don't recommend to follow it heavy.Follow or Fade it if you will.I'm only risking this a small play for me.

I tailed Dex on the Cavs, I'll prob hit the 1Q line too later.

Does anyone know if there is a tendency for games to go Under or Over in the first 2 weeks of the season?
And where can I find the ATS stats like "off a loss" "1q" and that stuff?

I mostly look at sbr team scoreboard-matchups.

sports.com shows a lot of ATS stats but not ones like 1q or 1h.

Do you know why theres been a 4 pt swing in the minny game?

So, NBA started. And here my first forecast. I like the bet on Cleveland Cavaliers, expecially of their house defeat from Boston. Hardly Cleveland will dare to lose 2nd game successively on start. Yes. Constructions of Clevelend all as are under construction through James and efficiency of Shakil is not high, but Toronto is very weak first of all in defence and under boards.

    my bet:
Cleveland Cavaliers - Toronto Raptors (Cleveland Cavaliers -5.00) 1.95 Pinnacle

I don't bet a lot of games early in the season because I like to see what is going on first but I have to take Golden State-6.5. They are going to run Houston out of the gym. Houston is a mess until at least Mcgrady comes back. Plus they are on a b2b without a go to guy. Trevor Ariza without the Lakers? Are you kidding me? Golden State's whole roster is capable of starting, and the whole team will play. They are fresh with this being their first game of the season. It's going to be a long season for Houston even when Mcgrady comes back next month. I believe Houston is the team to fade until the books catch on!

    Good luck guys.

Thanks, Ragiche I hope this season will be lucky for me! I feel it.
I am from Ukraine. NBA is very popular in our country. I too love basketball, therefore I will try to combine that that I love - forecasts for sports, dialogue with interesting people, I think them much at this forum, and to improve my knowledge of English language I wish to reach in it of the big successes. I wish all interesting and fascinating games!

Good luck on the season Ragiche. I pick my spots. I try not to go crazy in the NBA because it is hard not to with all the games. Right now I am going to pick a game a night for the first two weeks. This year we will see parity in the NBA comparable to the NFL. And right now Houston is one of the worst teams in the league.

Like your card I am on all of those games as well. I do have a small play on the Heat added which I loved until I saw the public pound the heck out of it.

I got a couple of steamy picks...JAY PLAY'S if you will:

    Celtics -6 1st half
Celts are coming off a good win last night where the looked incredible against the cavs (in cleveland where the cavs don't lose). Now the C's are coming back to beantown for the home opener. I see them opening up real hard to show the fans who they are, which means an early lead going into the half. I don't like the DD line for the game though. They could cover, but the Bobcats can suprise us, and a backdoor cover is possible.

    Orlando -5.5 1st Half
Sort of the same reasoning here. It is the home opener for the Magic, and they looked pretty good in preseason (I know doesn't hold much weight, but they are still a good team). I can see the Magic jumping out quick to cover for the half. My local doesn't have quarter lines up yet, but I'd say that a 1st quarter bet on the magic would be pretty good too. Last year they were great at opening up big leads in the 1st.

    4 PT TEASER
    Cavs -2/Orlando -5.5
I love this tease, and I think it speaks for itself.

    GL guys!

    Thur 10/29:

Early in the season some might think its a mistake to fade teams playing back to back. i actually think that this time of the year (and the end of the season) is the best time to fade teams btb. conditionining is not where it will be a month from now. i'll fade both teams playing btb on thur. unit amounts TBD after todays results:

    bulls -2 (projected)

    blazers -4.5 (projected)
