Is looking more and more like the NBA won't reach a deal with their refs. That is going to lead to replacements, which could affect the games quite a bit. Number of fouls, etc.

Anyone have any thoughts of how it might affect the league and betting on it?

Good question. Have to figure out which side of the fix they are on.

Bet the OVER on Phoenix, and Golden State games. Especially if its the WNBA refs, b/c they call soo many fouls that aren't even close. Add the fact these guys will get intimidated easily, by the jerks that play in the NBA.

Expect games to be choppy, and an increase in tech calls. This will be a low point in the entertainment value games will have this season. I predict that the NBA will have to come to an agreement with the original refs, due to the pressure from NBA players complaints.

I am a firm believer that several of the union refs are 'Donaghy's', therefore with scabs in place we will most likely see games play out more true to form so I would approach the season feeling more confident that my handicapping will prove to be better with less intervention by some referees discretion and determination to assist in the outcomes ATS.
