Let's note these:
1) In recent meetings between these sides, scoring has been higher in Indiana than in Phoenix.
2) None of the L3 meetings in Phoenix between these sides has eclipsed this total. The highest total in the L3 at Pho was 173.
3) No game between these sides has gone to OT.

We're been offered this generous line because the last meeting in Indiana ended in a total of 196. It always appears stupid to go Under in a Pho game but knowing when to fade a trend is a helpful tool in this business.

I got under as well. I got this capped averaging 161 pts.

Taking sides is another issue. Taking regular season stats, it's almost dead even. Using playoff stats only makes Phoenix a 2 pt favourite to cover the spread. Using season and playoff together just brings it closer to even (on the spread). I don't think playing sides in game 1 is worthwhile.

I can't touch sides in this affair. The Under is a gift to me. I capped it at a maximum of 165 points, in which the winner scores no more than 85 points.

Let's hope so. Phoenix tend to learned to play defense their last game against LA. Lets hope this continue. Also, if my bookie would allow me, I would buy 1 point and take Indiana at +5.5. I don't think Phoenix is 6 point better then Indiana, just as now.

I have a feeling this will bode well for smart cappers in the rest of the series. Tonight's results may make the OU line spike for game 2, and I still think betting the under may be a wise decision.
