I don't understand why the first game benefits the lower rank team. Like why is the first game in San Antonio. If San Antonio wins that all they have to do is win 1 more. The way the series is setup gives momentum and benefits the lower ranked team. It puts a lot of pressure on the higher rank team to win that first game on the road which will be tough. They should change that and have the the higher rank team at home the first and 3rd game.

    But

    Phoenix, LA

    Atlanta, Indiana

It's a shame Seattle was hit with injuries late in the season.

I agree, ST - it's been a problem for years in the league. They must do it to save on traveling - both money and time/fatigue from it. But it's made no sense.

I think they should make all rounds a best of five anyway. Doesn't seem right that a team could dominate a whole regular season, lose twice and be out.

    It's strictly a money issue.

The fact of the matter is that outside of this thread, and some diehard fans for each team in the league, the WNBA is below professional bowling on the interest scale.

totally agree. it seems they are totally going the opposite way of nba.
should give the upper hand on the team who showed up the whole regular season.

i think its still indiana and phoe to lose it. regardless of injuries, although i have no idea how hurt is catchings.

would be nice to see an SBR playoff contest for WNBA... but i guess that would be wishful thinking at this point.
