Do online sports books pay out that much money?

Hell freakin' yeah they do. There are guys that are betting 10K or more per game and hundreds of thousands per month.

Well you can do it man I started with around $100 and got into 10k territory. What helped a lot were parlays.

why dont you parlay 2 baseball teams? I'm liking Phillies parlayed with St.louis tomarrow. Both are coming off losses tonight, and have good pitching tomarrow.

Thanks HD. I love the thrill of the parlays and teasers. I can play several a day and even if I lose every single one I don't care, because I know I'll hit one at some point and get that "high"!

That soccer parlay should have hit. Manchester United is shut out in the 1H and scores 5 in the 2H! WTF? I would have pushed on the Stokes pick and Sunderland won SU, but f'n Manchester U didn't wake up until the 2H. Oh well.

Soccer parlays are sucker bets! As an european an huge soccer fan (FCPorto - worldclass club on selling players for a fortune ) I know from experience that one should only bet at soccer for fun and pleasure. The real $$ comes on US sports.

Never paid much attention to parlays, but after seeing what you have posted here i think I will throw some in.
Im in dont care for the 9 team parlays too much but the $$$$ sure is f'n enticing. jesus 5.25 for 1500.
so make sure you keep us posted roag and keep it rollin

Parlays are the devil! But I've hit some nice ones in the last year and they're fun to play since you their high risk/high reward. I don't keep track of them, but I'm probably up a little bit at least on them, and I can't count how many I've lost by 1 game (5 of 6, 6 of 7, etc.). Most of my money is made on teasers, I killed the NBA and NCAA tournament with the 3 team/8 pointers.

You should only bet parlays with "play" money (money you can afford to lose, and a small amount at that) and don't bet them expecting to make money betting sports. Bet them for the entertainment value only.

The Cubs and Dodgers better start hitting the ball or 2 parlays will be done early.

    Default what are those

ok what are teasers if you dont want to explain i will go look it up but i was hoping for a straight out explanation from someone so i dont have to read an ass load to get it. I f I need to I will.
and yeah i see parlays seem like they could be like bingo damn it missed it by one number f'k hahaha
but like you say and show 1-5 dollars here and there on some educated takes seems like a good idea.
but if it hits big doesnt mean it can make more or bigger bets jsut stick with origianl gameplan to keep it going and building slowly hell you got 6 months from your title dont think you really care when you hit 10k as long as you do and the rest i am sure would only hold you accountable for about half i mean 5k in 6 months of 125 aint too bad nowhatimasayin

    threeg5,

Just Google sports teasers and you'll find plenty of info. The basic concept is that you get extra points for playing 2 or more teams with a teaser. For example, I like 3 Team/8 Point teasers. Not every book offers them but Bookmaker does. So let's assume I like the following games with these lines:

    Team A +4 against Team B
    Team C -7 against Team D
    Team E +6 against Team F

So I play a 3 Team/8 Point Teaser, taking Teams A, C and E. Each gets 8 additional points, so the lines are now:

    Team A +12
    Team C +1
    Team F +14

The payout is -120 (lay $120 to win $100). All 3 teams need to cover, but if you have 2 wins (covers) and a tie it's a push.

I didn't want to be annoying, and I saw that further in the thread you explained that parlays are to bet only with money you don't care aka play money....and I agree 100% with that.

Another thing, on teasers that you are beting in bookmaker you said that if you win 2 and tie another it's a push, I don't know if you are a US citizen but if not you should use bet365 because in teasers like that (2 wins one push) would count like a two team parlay win!

    cheers

On parlays yes, teasers no. On a 3 Team Parlay, if you win 2 and push one it drops to a 2 team winner. If you have a 2 Team Parlay and you win 1 and push 1, the winner is paid as a straight bet.

Now with Parlay Cards (not regular Parlays), a Tie is a Loss (with Bookmaker).

On Teasers (at least with Bookmaker), if you play a 3 Team/8 Pt teaser, 2 wins and a push are a push for the whole bet.

I still have $50 in the challenge account from $200 ($25 of that was a freeplay). I will probably play 10 x $5 parlays, I'm confident I can hit one to get the account back up there.
