pho3nix32's WNBA Plays '09
In respect to CK and SM, I'm going to post my plays here. They have done quite a remarkable job and I hope to contribute as well.  My record will be posted under my name. GL to all for the remainder of the season. 
For tomorrow:
line: atl@min 167
pick: 167 over
Both clubs are very well rested and ready to run-n-gun tomorrow. The over for Minny is 6-1 while 9-2 for Atlanta when playing with 2 or more days rest. Expect this trend to continue tomorrow.

pick: 178.5 over
Same as reasoning above. Two well rested teams. The Mercury with its no-defense attitude will allow the Monarchs to score. Look forward to and enjoy another high-scoring battle tomorrow. |

break it up guys...we are here to make some cash! ive always done my own capping in nba and wnba. i never blindly tail. i've been posting in CK's threads since the NBA, i just came out of the thread out of respect for them. i still ask CK for advice from time to time since this is still a learning game for me. |

I'm playing the over simply because Lauren Jackson will be out for the Storm. LJax is the defensive anchor for Seattle, without her, this should turn into an offensive battle instead of a lockdown. The Monarchs rank 10th in the league in terms of points allowed, so in short, they suck on defense. The books favor the Monarchs by 2.5, which means this could be a very tight game. The more competitive the game, the more chance we have to cover this over total.

The Mystics are one of the better offensive teams in the league but are quite subpar in terms of defense. The Liberty on the other hand are last in the league in offense...BUT...they just love to jack up 3-balls. This game will be played in Washington's house and the pace will be controlled by the hosts. Expect New York to get caught up with the uptempo offense of Washington. It will be raining threes tomorrow my friends.

We have a bevy of games tomorrow and I see 3 games going over the total and a side for dessert:

The Liberty are playing at the end of a b2b losing against the Mystics in the previous outing. These women will not have the legs for defense against the high scoring Dream. Atlanta is a weak defensive team as well and once again I believe it will be raining threes tomorrow.

In my humble opinion, the loss of LJax is a huge hit in the defense of the Storm. I expect Minny to try and take full advantage of this by attacking aggressively on offense. On the other hand, Seattle should be able to score handily against the poor D of the Lynx. The over has been 5-1 in the last 6 meetings in Seattle.

Detroit is in the same position as New York, only worst. They are playing on a b2b off an overtime loss to the Mercury. Now we all know that Sacramento really sucks in terms of offense but I'm gonna give this another shot. I'm gonna bank on the trend of the over being 6-1 in the last 7 meetings in Sacramento. We'll see if we finally cheer for the Monarchs or the cussing continues.

The Stars have gone 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games after an SU loss. The Sky on the other hand are on a slump. With Fowles not 100% healthy, I expect Hammon to lead San Antonio in winning this ball game SU. Enough of the losing. They are after all, the defending West champs.
