Good result for us looking to fade the US in the Olympics. As expected a little bit of a sandbag effort from Spain after they fell behind. Marc Gasol sits out and Calderon spends an usual amount of time on the bench. The key to beating the US is size and the guards being able to handle the ball. Not using Marc and Calderon is fishy

just imho, marc gasol isnt going to be the differnce in a game vs usa...all they have to do is keep sinking shots away from the basket...
but people acting like spain was outclassing USA, and usa couldnt hang after watching 8 min of 1st quarter was really embarrassing..but ALOT of OPs on the forum overreact to everything that happens early in every game and sport, like 1st quarter or even first 5 minutes yesterdayLast edited by 5mike5; 07-25-12 at 10:14 AM.
