Who is pounding the Heat in game 2 and why?

    Just curious.

Is it because Lebron will shut down Durant because Durant is weak and disappears?

Is it because the Thunder are a jump shooting team?

Is it because Miami is the best defensive team in the NBA even though they just got lit up?

I think this will be a good series and it's definitely not over. With that said, I'm not sure why you would want to back the less talented team on the road in the Thunderdome where no playoff team has won this year.

Anyone that knows basketball knew the Thunder were going to win that game toward the end of the third quarter. Miami was gassed because they have a 7 man rotation and they were tired from chasing around the younger, deeper, and more athletic team all game.

It's not a coincidence there jumpers quit falling and it's not a coincidence the Thunder took over.

    So why take Miami?

I personally am betting Thunder to take the series after tonights game. I had doubt about the Heat. Thunder are on fire.

I'll Westbrook over James any day...Westbrook has by far the better jump shot, energy, and vision.

I think Heat cover game 2 but OKC win by 1-5. If heat do lose game 2 then they will be a solid bet for game 3. Line at one of my books is currently at +5 and total at 196. I think the under has some value at that number tbf

Heat game 3 is the play.

Not sure why everyone has a hard on for game two.

  7. #7

Heat game 3 is for sure a better bet. Miami role players did their job but it still wasn't enough to outscore the thunder. OKC for game 2. Might do only ml for the next one though

I agree I think the next big game is game 4. Miami's shot to steal one was tonight and they blew it. OKC routs them in game 2 then takes the foot off the pedal and Miami wins game 3. Then game 4 becomes huge because if Miami wins the pressure starts shifting over to the young OKC team.

    Thunder at -5.5 now.

Where are all these people that were saying Miami was a great play in game 2?

Miami is a good team that is capable of winning any game in which Lebron and Wade go off but I'm not sure why you would want to back them on the road. Why not wait until game three?

I am liking the Heat tomorrow. Waiting to see what my system says though. So far each time Miami's trailed a series this year and had there backs against the wall they've responded (going 2-0). Let's not forget the Thunder didn't get there first lead until a minute to go in the 3rd quarter. Lebron/Wade just both had bad shooting nights. Bosh will start tomorrow. And James will guard KD down the stretch. The Heat are one of the best teams at making adjustments defensively, and I'm sure after watching game film from game 1 they'll be ready. If you guys have to rely on KD scoring 17 or w/e he put up in the 4th again I like our chances. Also I wouldn't expect to have so many calls go your way at the end of the game this time around as Stern and the boys will more than likely be on our side tomorrow.

And OKC hasn't lost at home in the playoffs and OKC has played a lot better competition than the Heat.

The Heat will win at least two at home if not all three. People should bet them then imo.

The Thunder played like shit in the first half and the Heat were getting unexpected scoring from Chalmers and Battier. OKC also had their worst shooting performance at the free throw line in quite some time and Harden was a non-factor. OKC still won by 11.

Wait until Ibaka and Harden get going.

This series is definantly going 6-7 games. Don't count the Heat out so quickly based off of one game

I'm not. I agree that it will be a long series.

I like Miami +3 1H -110 cause it cashed Tuesday. But realistically, Bosh will need 20 points for the Heat to win this game.

Miami knows they cant get in a 2-0 hole. That being said lebron has promised to be more aggressive/determined but we have yet to see it. Either way both teams are equally tired now unlike game one and i have to believe that Miami will get more points in transition this game. I personally will be on Miami -4 +380 because Miami cant close out close games and if they're gonna win then they will by 4+.

I think lebron being on the hot player whether it be westbrook or durant is the best way to go. Have battier play durant when lebron is on westbrook. and as long they protect the corners then lebron can keep westbrook out the paint. Taking chalmers off the floor shouldnt be as strenuous as having Russell carve them up.

Oklahoma City to win 4 games to none.

Maxed out at 11-1 on OKC winning in 4 games and bet more on the 4 game sweep at +800 after OKC dismantled the Heat in game 1.

Miami is totally outclassed in this series.

When people say POUND what exactly do they mean? Do they mean they are betting on that team ? Because it seems like the term POUNDING is over used on this forum. No one is POUNDING anything. People sure do a lot of POUNDING when they bet games but what money are they POUNDING with? Is $10 considered POUNDING by most people on here?

Really surprised OKC is -5.5 again. Might just kick back and root for the Heat on this one, maybe play a lame prop bet for fun.

  21. #21

So what?? no playoff team were capable of beating the spurs at home.. If lebron heats up pun intended.. "OKC will need 500 joey crawfords to put that \*\*\*\*\*\* out".

  22. #22

I was going to play Heat for series but wanted to wait after game I figured they lose and and get more in winnings. Seeing that they're around +230 for this game and +210 for series and they've got to win on the road at some point to win the series I'm choosing my spot now. I also think this series is gonna end in OKC.

  23. #23

So it looks like a ton of people like the Heat tonight but I haven't see what the reasons are....

First of all, his "team" isn't that good. The reason he does all of this so he can act like he's some sort of "die-hard" OKC fan, when none of those exist. Some team that has existed for a handful of years doesn't have die hard fans.

If a lifelong Sonics fan continued to like the franchise, which some did, then they can call themselves a die-hard. These wannabe die hard OKC fans are hilarious. Especially if they had a favorite team before that, it's beyond laughable in that case. If they didn't have a team, cool....root for OKC but don't act like you're some sort of huge fan until you have a minimum of. 10-15 years under your belt. If I liked a team for under a decade I wouldn't even claim to be a fan to a single other soul unless they know me personally and really, really well. Shit is a joke, honestly.

So even though I have lived in OKC and started going to games the first year they came to town and were 2-19 to start the year I'm not a fan?

So you have to like a team for 10-15 years before you become a fan? That would disqualifying half this board since there are so many kids here.

    You're a f*ckig idiot.

I'm more of a fan than all of these Heat and Laker fans that don't even live in the same state as those teams and have never gone to a game.

I'm pretty sure buying tickets, going to the games, and rooting for you home state team makes you a fan.

    Get real.
